(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mrs. Gao Aihua, 42, lived on Hanzheng Street in the Qiaokou District of Wuhan City, Hubei Province. In 2000, she went to Beijing to clarify the facts and validate Dafa. She was detained in the Wuhan City First Detention Center. She was then transferred to Hewan Forced Labor Camp and persecuted there for one year and six months. On August 2, 2002, a group of scoundrels led by Officer Zhu from the Hanjiadun Avenue Police Station broke into Mrs. Gao's house. They pinned Mrs. Gao to the ground then pulled her up by the hair and took her to the Etouwan brainwashing center. After 18 days on a hunger strike to protest the unlawful detention, Mrs. Gao was released. In September 2003, the Hanjiadun Avenue Station police arrested her again. This time they sentenced Mrs. Gao to 18 months of forced labor in the Hewan Forced Labor Camp in Wuhan City. Mrs. Gao's relatives did not know her whereabouts for a long time, and they were afraid to ask the police. Mrs. Gao refused to submit to the persecution while she was in prison. As a result, she was hung up for 15 days and subjected to a variety of tortures. Mrs. Gao's husband divorced her while she was imprisoned. Long-term torture severely injured Mrs. Gao. She died on March 20, 2006.

Mrs. Luo Yingtao was a doctor in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Before she became a Falun Dafa practitioner, she had had malignant galactophore cancer that had metastasize to the bone. No effective cure was available. She was very thin and weak as of late 1995. Her left hand and arm were swollen to three times their normal size. She could not go to sleep because of the pain. She knew her days were numbered. In January 1996, Mrs. Luo started practicing Falun Gong. Not long after, all of her illnesses disappeared and her cheeks became rosy red. When the persecution began in 1999, Mrs. Luo went to Beijing twice to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. She told the government about the improvements in her health from practicing Falun Dafa. Because of her appeal, Mrs. Luo was under police surveillance for a long time. The police took her to the police station whenever sensitive dates approached. At one time, all of Mrs. Luo's relatives were unemployed because of the persecution policy. Even her child was suspended from school. As a result of this long-term persecution, Mrs. Luo collapsed and died on December 3, 2002.

Mrs. Shen Xiaojing, 43, was a practitioner in Kaiping Town, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. Practicing Falun Gong cured Mrs. Shen's heart disease and high blood pressure. During the persecution, Mrs. Shen appealed to the town officials. As a result, she was detained for five days in Kaiping Town and for 15 days in Tangshan Detention Center. In May 2001, she went out to clarify the facts, and the Kaiping Town 610 Office arrested her. She was then sentenced to three years and six months in prison. During the imprisonment, Mrs. Shen was subjected to physical and mental torture. The 610 Office repeatedly harassed her even after her release. On October 19, 2004, Kaiping District Police arrested some 15 practitioners, including Mrs. Shen. The long-term persecution caused Mrs. Shen's former illnesses to reappear. She died on October 17, 2005.
