Our practice site is located in a small town not far from a big city. We became well established in this hustle and bustle town. During the fanatic persecution, even with fewer practitioners, we were able to exercise and study the Fa with peaceful hearts, learn from each other by sharing experiences, and handle cultivation seriously. After six years, the number of practitioners in our group increased. We clarify the truth to save sentient beings and to expose the evil. We walk on our paths of cultivation and Fa rectification and fulfill our prehistoric vows, living up to the title of 'Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples.'
An event that occurred before July 20, 2005
It was a market day, and practitioners came from everywhere. They passed out truth clarification materials, including the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and DVDs, and clarified the truth face to face. That day, three fellow practitioners were buying goods from a store and talked with the owner about the history of the CCP and its evil deeds. When they gave him a DVD, a customer nearby also asked for one. Shortly after that, the customer called the police, who soon arrived. The customer was a spy. He was hired by the police to look for practitioners.
One practitioner walked away wisely, but the police took two practitioners away. All the practitioners in the market began sending forth righteous thoughts right away. Some went back to their villages and notified other practitioners to send righteous thoughts to eliminate evil in other dimensions, to eliminate the CCP's evil interference, and for the immediate release our fellow practitioners.
The practitioners were taken to the police station. The policeman called his boss on his cell phone, "We have arrested two Falun Gong practitioners. Where should we send them? Oh, release them?" The police turned around and told them, "Go home. You are released." Master's benevolent protection is always with us as long as we have righteous thoughts and righteous actions.
One of them went home and began cleaning his yard. The villagers were surprised, "You're back?! We thought the police were going to hold you again." This event displayed Dafa's mighty power to the villagers.
Master asked us to save sentient beings on all fronts. No matter where we go, we take truth clarification materials and pamphlets urging people to quit the CCP with us. One time, a couple, went to visit relatives out of town and were spied on and followed after they clarified the truth. In the days leading up to July 20, there were spies, plainclothes police, security guards, and informers everywhere in the streets. After the couple arrived at their relative's home, the police came and raided the house and took the couple away.
Their relatives called fellow practitioners right away. The news was delivered immediately to the practice site. The practitioners began to study the "Fa" together and send forth righteous thoughts immediately. The coordinator notified other practitioners at different sites to also send forth group righteous thoughts and negate the arrangements by the evil forces. Even though the practitioners who were arrested might have had loopholes, they could be corrected through the power of Dafa. Nobody is allowed to persecute a Dafa practitioner who walks firmly on the path of cultivation and of saving sentient beings. He or she must be released immediately, without condition.
Three days later, the relative called and told them that the police already released the husband and they would release the wife within 15 days. We did not give up and continued sending forth righteous thoughts. After two weeks, the other practitioner also returned home safely. When she came back, all the villagers were shocked, "We thought they would sentence you to 10 years."
We don't blamed the villagers who "thought this" or "believed that." Such thoughts and beliefs have been instilled by the CCP red terror. Especially after the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" became public, the CCP did not dare to publicly denounce it but to "persecute the Falun Gong to death" in the dark. Before July 20, there were police sirens everywhere in the street. If we have righteous thoughts and actions and walk on the path of cultivation, what can others do to us?
These two events exposed the CCP's nature of being outwardly strong but inwardly weak and helped to negate the false front they put up for the world to see. The events also helped us understand the Fa better and to understand that if we function as a group we can minimize losses.
In 2005, there were areas that we did not do well in. Luckily, we have Master and the Fa, and we will continue to correct ourselves with the Fa. Let us express our respect to our Master and salute our fellow practitioners. Please compassionately point out any shortcomings.
