Solemn Declaration
I was very fortunate and happy to begin the practice of Falun Dafa in 1996. After the persecution began in July 1999, my home was ransacked, my pension was suspended and I was twice detained in a brainwashing class. Under pressure, I signed my name against my will on a pre-written statement that slandered Dafa and Teacher, thus leaving a stain on my cultivation path. Since then I have been feeling very bad and I know I've let down Teacher and His compassionate protection of me. I hereby solemnly declare that my signature on that document is null and void. From now on I will redouble my efforts to make up for the loss I brought to Dafa and I will cultivate to the end.

Solemn Declaration
Under the evil persecution, I once deviated from Dafa and betrayed Teacher and Dafa. I even wrote an application to join the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). After I was released, the authorities still sent people to monitor me for a long period of time. My family members also kept an eye on me. At the same time, my fear prevented me from studying the Fa and doing the exercises. My attachments were eventually taken advantage of by the evil. One day I fell from a height of ten flights of stairs and went into a coma. I suffered a stroke, and half of my body was paralyzed. I also lost all of my memory. I was like this for about two years. Not long ago, I was forced to leave home and my family burned all my Dafa books. Recently I was able to meet some fellow practitioners. I began to study the Fa, do the exercises, and send forth righteous thoughts together with them. Gradually I regained my memory. I realized that all these things had happened to me because I did not study the Fa well, because I failed to do the three things well, and because I did not maintain a righteous mind. In short, I was persecuted by the old forces. Now I solemnly declare everything I said, wrote and did that did not conform to Dafa is null and void. I will completely negate the old forces' arrangements and redouble my efforts to make up for the loss I brought to Dafa.
