(Clearwisdom.net) A relative of mine just returned from the U.S. He told me how fellow practitioners clarify the truth and gave me some examples. I recognized that clarifying the truth is not simply telling people the facts. We are also required to harmonize everything and it also can act as a mirror that shows us our omissions.

Example 1: While standing in line waiting to enter a store, an elderly practitioner was distributing The Epoch Times newspaper. Several Chinese people in that line refused to take the newspaper. My relative accepted one and read it while waiting. Because the store does not allow people to bring anything into the store from the outside, my relative threw the newspaper into the garbage can. The fellow practitioner quickly took the newspaper back and said to my relative, "Please don't throw it away." My relative asked, "Where do you think I should put it?" The practitioner answered, "You should put it in a better place." My relative said, "The store does not allow me to bring anything inside, where do you think I should put it?" The practitioner replied: "A better place." My relative asked again, "I cannot throw it anywhere, where do you think I should put it other than into the garbage can?" The practitioner said again, "A better place." Due to this conversation, my relative started to dislike this Dafa practitioner. I totally understand the fellow practitioner who was thinking about this person, and wanted to stop people from unconsciously damaging Dafa. However, I suggest that fellow practitioners be more harmonized when telling people to treat Dafa materials well. We could say things from the viewpoint of ordinary people's rules. For example, we could tell them, "If you do not want to keep it but do not know where to put it, would you please give it back to me? This way you save resources for us and show us your respect. Thanks a lot." I believe this would be much easier for people to understand.

Example 2: In Washington D.C., my relative saw a Dafa practitioner playing truth clarification tapes in a public place. My relative described this practitioner as wearing dirty clothes and sunglasses. I could tell that my relative did not respect a person with such an appearance. We Dafa practitioners represent the image of Dafa. Though we are validating the Fa in our own ways, I think we must conform to ordinary human society. Wearing clean clothing is a basic manner in ordinary human society. We must make sure we are showing people the good image of Dafa when clarifying the truth. Otherwise people might not accept the truth simply by judging it from our appearance.

Example 3: Once in a parking lot on a tour group bus, a Dafa practitioner entered the bus and started clarifying the truth. The tour guide told him, "We are leaving now, would you please leave the bus?" The Dafa practitioner did not move. The guide said several times, "We all know the truth." The practitioner finally left. People on the bus started talking negatively about the practitioner as soon as he left.

After hearing the above examples, I enlightened to the following:

It is not easy to be considerate all the time, especially when we are facing different situations and different people. Yet we must pay attention to details.

There is a process for everyone to understand the truth. The process might take more than one practitioner to clarify the truth on different occasions. We should not have the attachment of achieving certain results when clarifying the truth, and wanting to tell everything to people at once. This might cause damage to Dafa.

I heard about the above three examples from my relative. I am not sure about the exact situations and what truly happened. I admire the great efforts overseas Dafa practitioners are making when clarifying the truth. I just want to remind practitioners to pay more attention to details.
