(Clearwisdom.net) Many Falun Gong practitioners were arrested recently in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in retaliation for the exposure of the fact that two female Falun Gong practitioners were raped by the police of Dongchenfang Police Station. This behavior truly exposes the evil nature of the CCP. Among the arrested Falun Gong practitioners, Cao Zhaohui was illegally sent to Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp of Baoding City (or Baoding City Forced Labor Camp) for further persecution.
Over the past six years, the couple Cao Zhaohui and Chen Lingmei have been brutally tortured by detention centers in Zhuozhou City, the 610 Office, Nanma Brainwashing Center of Zhuozhou City, Xiaobailou Brainwashing Center of Baoding City, and Baoding City Forced Labor Camp. Cao Zhaohui's mother, who was more than eighty years old, could not bear the pressure and passed away. His wife is currently homeless and his teenage daughter has to stay with other people. Currently, no one is taking care of his father, who is in his 80's.
Currently Cao Zhaohui is imprisoned at Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp of Baoding City. Since the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999, the camp has gone into a frenzy to carry out the persecution. Li Dayong is the person who directly tortures Falun Gong practitioners. Liu Qingyong, Zhang Qian, Wang Lei, Li Liang, and Li Xiuqin have all been persecuted to death at this forced labor camp.
As soon as a Falun Gong practitioner arrives there, the guards of the camp start to work on "transforming" him (or her). The process of "transformation" is composed of cruel mental and physical torture.
The torture methods include standing for a long time (with both hands cuffed and arms outstretched), sleep deprivation, squatting for a long periods of time (with hands on the head), being tied up (the whole body of a practitioner is tied tightly with a rope with a beer bottles inserted between the rope and the body to make it extremely tight, and the practitioner is shocked with electric batons. After release, perpetrators fiercely shake the hands of the practitioner with great force in order to make the practitioner feel that their flesh is tearing apart), sitting for long periods of time (practitioner is tied in a chair and cannot move at all.), the death bed (the arms and legs of a practitioner are tied to the two ends of a bed for ten days to a month), face slapping, kicking, face and head being beating with batons, squatting while being beaten on the back, foot being pierced with a needle, forcing practitioners to sit in the double lotus position and being tightly tied with a rope until the practitioner loses consciousness, tying a practitioner up on a chair and covering the mouth with duct tape, and forcing practitioners to do heavy physical labor for long periods of time. A female perpetrator, Bai Jie, even inserted her hand into female practitioners' private areas.
In Baoding City Forced Labor Camp, the vicious persecution against steadfast Falun Gong practitioners has not stopped or slowed down. Many Falun Gong practitioners have had their homes ruined and their families broken apart. Other practitioners have been tortured to the point of physical disability. Only after practitioners could not stand the tortures and signed the so-called "transformation" statements (guarantee statement, disclosure statement, decision statement, regret statement) would the guards stop these physical tortures.
The mental tortures include forcing practitioners to watch video programs defaming Falun Gong, filling their minds with lies, inflicting violence upon them, and demanding that practitioners give up their belief in Truthfulness Compassion, Forbearance. If practitioners stay true to their beliefs in the face of all this mental torture and still say that "Falun Dafa is good," worse and even more cruel tortures are inflicted upon them.
