(Clearwisdom.net) Before the arrival of the Winter Olympic Games, Falun Gong practitioners from Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, France, Norway, Poland, UK, Romania and Italy came to the host city - the Northern mountain city of Torino (Turin) - to introduce Falun Dafa and tell the local people and visitors about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Athletes and workers from many countries have arrived in Turin. In order for more people to understand the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, Dafa disciples held activities separately in four places, including a busy train station, an area where lots of Chinese and other Asians live and in a shopping center. The people passing by received leaflets, and many stopped to talk with practitioners in order to learn more.
Over the last five years, Italian Falun Gong practitioners have exposed the persecution to people here in a variety of ways. The kind-hearted citizens and media in this area already have some understanding about Falun Gong and the persecution happening in China.
During the Winter Olympics, Falun Dafa practitioners hope to let people from all over the world know about the benefits of this practice and the brutal nature of the suppression in China.
