(Clearwisdom.net) Bodo is a beautiful coastal city in the northern part of Norway, with a population of nearly 50 thousand. The name "Bodo" is derived from the Sanskrit word "Buddha"and means "City of Buddha." In February, eight Falun Gong practitioners from Thailand went to Bodo. On Saturday February 11, three young practitioners joined the group and they all went to the busiest part of Bodo City's downtown area to introduce Falun Dafa to the local people and to expose the persecution against practitioners that is taking place in China.

Practitioners unfurled banners and put up posters on the side of the street, introduced what Falun Gong is, and told about the brutal persecution against Falun Gong that is happening in China. Most of the people passing by accepted the leaflets. A large number of people stopped to look at the pictures depicting tortures used again Falun Gong practitioners in China and were shocked by the on-going persecution . After learning the truth, people expressed their sympathy and encouragement to the practitioners.
Accompanied by the harmonious exercise music, practitioners demonstrated all five exercises. The meditation demonstrated by a young practitioner attracted people's attention, and many took photos. A few Norwegians even expressed interest in learning the exercises. Practitioners told them that they would show them the exercises and the beauty of Falun Dafa any place they were invited in Norway and that they wished the Norwegian people a bright and wonderful future.
