(Clearwisdom.net) Since Jiang's regime started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Chen Yanqing, head of the Qiaodong Court and other offices in Zhangjiakao City, Hebei Province, illegally sentenced and detained many Falun Dafa practitioners. For the past seven years, more than 14 innocent practitioners have suffered torture in prison, had their families torn apart, and have seen their relatives and close friends suffer harassment and mental devastation. The large number of practitioners sent directly to forced labor camp without any judicial procedure is difficult to count.
On July 18, 2006, the Qiaodong Court illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Guo Suying at her home, and held an illegal court trial. The judge and the assigned lawyer all agreed that this case was not criminal, so Guo was detained in Ahangjiakao Shisanli Detention Center. Her family tried to get her released but was refused, and the court fabricated some accusations to assist the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.
On September 4, the presiding judge in Zhangjiakao Qiaodong Court, Zhangjiao Intermediate Court illegally set a prison term of five years for Ms. Guo. Then they tried to force her to to give her signature and and fingerprints. Guo refused to sign and told them, "I practice Falun Gong and try to be a good person. I did not commit any crime." The whole procedure was done in ten minutes, and they sent Guo to the detention center again. On November 17, she was illegally sent to Luquan jail in Shijiazhuang City for further persecution.
At 2:30 p.m. on December 23, Qiaodong Court held a trial to process the illegal sentencing of Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhao Xiaolu, Ms. Ji Xiumei, and Ms. Zhang Guifu. The lawyer was assigned by the Qiaodong Court. The practitioners' families were informed of the trial only that morning. During the trial Zhao Xiaolu and Ji Xiumei validated Falun Dafa, and frightened the evil authorities by sharing their true experience of joyfully obtaining Dafa, how their moral standard was upgraded, and how they benefited from Dafa both physically and mentally. The court was speechless. The trial lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes. The lawyer quickly finished the trial with insufficient evidence of their hanging up banners during the Qingming festival.
