1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Tian Yunhai on Hunger Strike for Over 100 Days; His Life in Imminent Danger

On July 1, 2005, officers from the State Security Division in Dalian City led by Chen Xin and Dong Jian took Mr. Tian Yunhai into custody. Mr. Tian, 34, is an employee at the First Division of the Thirteenth Bureau of the Dalian Railroad. The officers brutally beat and tortured him. He was later held custody in the No. 6 Division of Panjin Prison after being unlawfully sentenced to prison by the Ganjingzi District Procuratorate and Court.

On one occasion, Mr. Tian tried to stop prison guards from beating other practitioners. The guards beat him with electric batons and put him on a Tiger Bench. He went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and it has lasted for 104 days (as of the time this report was dispatched). His life is in imminent danger. Mr. Tian is being held in the Patients' Quarter of the 5th Ward. His parents recently went to Panjin Prison to visit him, but the prison guards unreasonably denied their visit.

Mr. Liu Sitang, Mr. Wang Xia, and three other practitioners face unlawful trials on December 4, 2006, organized by the Licheng District 610 Office in Jinan City, the Judicial departments of the Licheng District, and the Anboshan Police Department in Jinan City. The trials are scheduled to take place at 2nd Ring Road No. 10 in the Licheng District.

5. [Henan Province] Police in the Xuchang and Yuzhou Area Arrest Several Practitioners

On November 24, 2006, police in the Xuchang and Yuzhou area coordinated in an unchecked campaign to arrest practitioners and search their homes. Three production sites of Falun Gong materials were sabotaged, and numerous practitioners were under arrest. Ms. Zhang Hongyun of the Xuchang City Central Hospital (in her 70s), Mr. Zhang Hongye (in his 50s), and Ms. Li Qiuju (in her 40s) were taken into custody at the district police department. Mr. Zhang and Ms. Zhang managed to get out of police custody the next day. The police brutally beat Ms. Li Qiuju in order to track down the source of the copies of the latest articles by Falun Gong founder and the Chinese edition of Clearwisdom Weekly she carried. Ms. Li remains in custody.

At around 11:45 a.m. on November 29, 2006, officers led by Zhang Zhenyi of the Pingyuan 610 Office and Political Security Section in Shandong Province broke into Mr. Song Guangxi's home in Songzhuang Village, Yuankouzhuang Township. The officers searched the place and found Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials and several DVD's of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. The officers took Mr. Song and his daughter, Ms. Song Xiaohui, to the county police department. The same afternoon, the officers went to Dayingzhang Village to search the homes of several other practitioners, but they did not find anything.

A few days earlier, these officers went to Yuzhuang Village in Qiancao Township to extort money from practitioners. Three practitioners were forced to submit 3,000 yuan each.

On the evening of November 28, 2006, the police arrested Mr. Chu Lianzong, a practitioner in Dafangshen Town in Dehui City. At around 5:00 a.m. the next morning, practitioner Ms. Zhang Chunqi from Xiajia Brigade was arrested at her home.

8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhao Yijun Unlawfully Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor

On September 17, 2006, Mr. Zhao Yijun was arrested for reading Falun Dafa materials on his way to work in the train heading for Feng Town, Inner Mongolia. Mr. Zhao is a practitioner from Pangjiabao in Xuanhua, Zhangjiakou City. Mr. Zhao has since been taken to the Wuyuan County Forced Labor Camp to serve one year of forced labor.

On November 26, 2006, Ms. Lei Wenxia, a practitioner from the Xuanhua District in Zhangjiakou City, was turned in to the police for clarifying the truth. The police arrested her and took her to a detention center.

10. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

At around 4:00 p.m. on November 26, 2006, police from Sunqing District in Nanchong City launched a large-scale campaign to search practitioners' homes. It was learned that three practitioners were arrested.

11. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Several Practitioners Sent to Xindian Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan

It has been discovered that practitioners Ms. Zhang Li, Ms. An Meili, Ms. Qin Junping, Ms. Yang Shuzhen, and Ms. Su Xiufang have been unlawfully sent to the Xindian Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.

12. [Aksu, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Alar Practitioner Ms. Cao Aihua Tortured to Death

Ms. Cao Aihua was a practitioner from Alar in Aksu, Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region. She was arrested in August 2006 for writing statements clarifying the truth on paper currency. She was sent to the Urumqi Women's Forced Labor Camp in mid-November. Within a few days, she had been tortured to death. Her husband has filed a lawsuit against the labor camp.

13. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Luo Unlawfully Held at Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center

At around 1:00 p.m. on November 17, 2006, a practitioner by the last name of Luo, from Agan Town in Lanzhou City, was arrested by members of the 610 Office in a rented house. The officers lied to the neighbors and claimed that the practitioner owed money. The police took the practitioner to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center.

14. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Shaanxi Province 610 Office Take Numerous Practitioners to Brainwashing Centers

According to inside information, eight members of the Shaanxi Province 610 Office have taken turns in various parts of the province to hold brainwashing sessions. After holding a session in Yulin and Yan'an, they have arrived at Xianyang City, where over a dozen practitioners have been taken into custody for brainwashing.

In mid-September, after being held in custody for over a month, practitioner Ms. Chen Xiaorong was taken away by plainclothes police when officials from her work unit were there to take her back to work. It has been over a month and her whereabouts remain unknown.

16. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Ms. Chen Daohua

On April 2, 2002, practitioners Ms. Chen Daohua (46 years old), Mr. Zhang Wanyou (56), and Mr. An Keqin from Guanghan City were arrested for producing Falun Dafa materials. Jiang Tianxing (male), head of the Guanghan City 610 Office, led Li Jun (male) and other officers to carry out the arrest. Ms. Chen and Mr. Zhang were each sentenced to 10 years in prison, and Mr. An to 11 years. They are being held in Huangxu Town Prison.

Ms. Chen Daohua's elder sister, Ms. Chen Daoxiu, was also arrested for coming to pick up materials. Ms. Chen Daoxiu was not released until almost half a year later after having had 20,000 yuan extorted from her. Their mother, Ms. Li Keqiong, who is in her 80s, could not bear the pressure and passed away.

17. [Jilin Province] Truth Clarification Materials Production Site Sabotaged; Practitioners Arrested

On the evening of November 24, 2006, a Falun Gong material production site was sabotaged. The police confiscated a large number of materials and took turns interrogating the arrested practitioners. A practitioner who is a three-wheeled bike driver passed out for over five hours from the police torture. His face is now disfigured. He also suffered sharp pain in his chest, had a hard time breathing, and could not eat. The authorities not only refused to offer him medical treatment but they also denied any visits from family members.

18. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Two Elderly Practitioners, Ms. Feng Jianzhen and Ms. Feng Jianying

In July 2006, Ms. Feng Jianzhen and Ms. Feng Jianying from Liquan County in the Xianyang area were secretly arrested by officers from Qian County in the Xianyang area. After Clearwisdom.net published the case, officials of the Qian County Detention Center decided to send both elderly ladies to the labor camp, each serving 18 months of forced labor. During the physical examinations prior to their admissions, one was found to suffer from heart problems and the other from high blood pressure. The labor camp refused to admit them. Ms. Feng Jianzhen and Ms. Feng Jianying were taken back to the detention center, but the authorities refused to release them.

19. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Ms. Hu Aiyun and Ms. Li Yushu Cruelly Tortured in the Heilongjiang Provincial Women's Prison

Practitioner Ms. Hu Aiyun was arrested and sentenced to eleven years in prison for producing truth-clarifying materials. She was taken to the intensive training ward in the Heilongjiang Provincial Women's Prison. Ms. Hu refused to cooperate with the persecution, refused to wear a prisoner's uniform, and refused to answer roll-call. As a result, she was placed in a small cell for over a year. She has been on hunger strikes several times to protest.

Practitioner Ms. Li Yushu has been on a hunger strike for the past two years. She is being held in isolation in a small room in Ward No. 10. She has become emaciated. When Ms. Li refused to put on prisoner's clothes, an inmate named Wang Xinghua (female) put the clothes on her by force. Ms. Li shouted "Falun Dafa is good" and Wang immediately gagged Ms. Li's mouth with a cloth. Wang also tied Ms. Li to the heating pipes so that she had to crouch there for hours.

Practitioner Mr. Chen Kaiqu, around 30 years old, is from Gutian City, Fujian Province. He worked in Beijing after graduating from graduate school. Between the end of July and the beginning of August 2006, he was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials at Peking University. His whereabouts remain unknown.

At 8:30 p.m. on November 22, 2006, practitioners Ms. Li Yunjiu and Ms. Shi Qunying from Pengzhou City went to the villages in Lichun Town, Pengzhou City, to post truth-clarifying materials. They were followed by Zeng Jun (male), director of the Lichun Police Station, and other officers. After the two practitioners were arrested, the Pengzhou City Police Department detained them in the Pengzhou City Detention Center on the grounds of "sabotaging the implementation of law by organizing and participating in an illegal activity" and other charges.

22. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Fu Xiaodong Arrested

Between the end of October and the beginning of November 2006, Han Junqi, male, the director of the Gaoyu Police Station in the Mingshan District of Benxi City; Yan Zhongmin, male, a residential officer in the police station; and several other people in the neighborhood administration office and the local community broke into practitioner Mr. Fu Xiaodong's home. They found Falun Dafa books and materials and took Mr. Fu into custody. Mr. Fu Xiaodong is being held at the Benxi Drug Rehabilitation Center and is serving two and a half years of forced labor.

At around 10:00 a.m. on November 16, 2006, officers from the Daqing City 610 Office, the State Security Department, the Wolong Police Station in the Longfeng District, and officials from the Yiyuan Property Management affiliated with Wanlong Property Management of Daqing Petro-Chemical arrived at practitioner Ms. Wang Jinlan's home. They claimed they were examining the sewage system. Ms. Wang was alerted and did not open the door; there were three other practitioners present and they were having group study at Ms. Wang's home. Later, it got quiet and the practitioners were about to leave. As soon as they opened the door, the police rushed in and took all four practitioners into custody at the Longfeng Detention Center in Daqing City.

On November 21, the other three practitioners were released after paying a fine. The police said Ms. Wang was to be released three days later, but she remains in custody.

27. [Chongqing City] Mr. Zhu Xinrong Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor

On October 10, 2006, practitioners Mr. Zhu Xinrong and his wife, Huang Daifang, were selling clothes at the market in Degan Town, Jiangjin City. They were arrested when clarifying the truth to people and detained for 15 days. Mr. Zhu Xinrong was sentenced to two years of forced labor and is now in Xishanping Labor Camp in Chongqing City.

Ms. Zhou is having difficulty walking and is in extreme pain.

32. [Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Zonglin Detained

On the afternoon of October 15, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhao Zonglin was arrested by local police, and her home was ransacked at around 8:00 p.m. on the same day. Police took her Falun Dafa books and her computer. Ms. Zhao is now detained in Chengdu City Detention Center located in Pi County. Her relatives brought some clothes for her, but the guards did not allow them to see her.

Practitioner Mr. Xu Shoucheng lives in the Hongcaogou Division of Xinxing Farm in Dawa County, Panjin City. On the evening of November 23, 2006, he went to the Yaogangzi Division to pass out truth-clarifying materials and was arrested by Xinxing Police Station Head (name unknown) and Deputy Head Shi Weide, and other officers.

From October 31 to November 4, 2006, policemen from the Sanqiao Station in the Xinghualing District, Taiyuan City, arrested practitioners Ms. Dong Aizhen, Ms. Wen Shuoyan, and one other practitioner (name unknown).

Practitioners Ms. Li Yukun and several others have been missing for many days.

37. [Laiwu City, Shandong Province] Facts of the Persecution of Ms. Jia Chunju

On November 9, 2000, practitioner Ms. Jia Chunju went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and was arrested and sent to the Laiwu City Liaison Office in Beijing. Local police took her to the Zhaili Police Station, took all her Falun Dafa books away, detained her for 15 days, and extorted 314 yuan from her.

Upon being released from the detention center, local police took Ms. Jia into custody for 24 hours. Station Head Meng (first name unknown) beat her with a wooden stick and harassed her daughter, who is a teacher.

In 2001, several policemen stormed in Jia Chunju's home and took her to the Tieche Brainwashing Center. The police forced her daughter and parents to help with the brainwashing, but they were not successful. In 2002, town policemen deceived Ms. Jia into going to the Xiaoyi Brainwashing Center for 40 days, and they extorted another 300 yuan from her.

On November 16, 2006, seven practitioners from the Hongtai District, Yuxi City, were arrested when clarifying the truth. Among them, three escaped with righteous thoughts, and the remaining four are still detained. The three escaped practitioners are on a wanted list.

Seventy-year-old practitioner Ms. He Cuiqiong was recorded by a hidden camera in the middle of September 2006 when passing out truth-clarifying materials. She was arrested and taken from her home and forced to go through brainwashing at the Guangzhou City "Legal Education School."

45. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Falun Dafa Materials Production Center in Caiyuan Destroyed

In the beginning of October 2006, a Falun Dafa materials production center run by practitioner "Huahua" was destroyed in the Caiyuan Neighborhood. At the end of October 2006, a practitioner employed by Taiyuan Airlines with the last name of Yan had his/her home ransacked. Another practitioner, name unknown, employed by Taiyuan City Butchery Factory, was also arrested.

46. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Xiangjie Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Li Xiangjie, 52, lives in the Fengrun District, Tangshan City. He started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1996, went to Beijing twice to appeal and has been arrested multiple times. Local police tortured him by stripping off his clothes and leaving him outside in the cold and shocking him with a high-voltage hand crank telephone. He passed out several times, so then the police would pour cold water over him to revive him.

At around 10:30 p.m. on September 28, 2006, Mr. Li was arrested again when he was working as a wagon driver. He was dismissed from his job, so he had to drive a man-powered three-wheeler for a living. He was sent to the State Security Division Office first, then detained in the Fengrun District Detention Center. Police withheld his wagon and six boxes of Falun Dafa materials that were on his wagon. They sealed off all information about him and refused many times to let his family see him.

47. [Chongqing City] Mr. Huang Anqing and Others Arrested

On March 15, 2006, Practitioner Mr. Huang Anqing, in his 60s, was reported and arrested when sending truth-clarification materials. He was detained for one month in the Chengkou County Detention Center. He was later sentenced to 15 months of forced labor and is now serving in the Xishanping Labor Camp in Chongqing City.

On October 17, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Dingxiu, in her 50s, was reported and arrested by police officers from the Chengkouo County Department. Her home was ransacked and police took a large amount of Falun Dafa books and truth clarifying materials. She is now detained in Chengkou County Detention Center. State Security Agents are interrogating her and trying to force her to tell them where the materials came from.
