(Clearwisdom.net) In 1998, Mr. Zhang Yuntian from my department started learning Falun Dafa. I told him that Falun Dafa was good, he believed it, and it seemed very easy for him to start learning the practice. At that time we held Fa study at my home. The happiest time for our group of several Dafa disciples was when we studied Fa together every week.
In 1999, when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Dafa, Mr. Zhang went to Emei Mountain to learn another religion. He went there for several months and didn't contact us when he came back. I felt very upset but could not persuade him.
After Mr. Zhang left Dafa, he started taking medicine again, and many bad things happened to his family. His eldest son got sick suddenly and died, and his daughter, who was always healthy, was diagnosed with stomach cancer. This was about 2004.
I saw Mr. Zhang several times, and I could feel the pain in his eyes. I communicated with him seriously, and at last Mr. Zhang came back and set himself to do the three things!
Hua, Mr. Zhang's daughter, lost her black hair after several chemotherapy treatments. I saw her walking around the big yard wearing a white hat and I felt sympathetic for her in my heart. Why did I see this? "Everything through the ages, came about for the Fa" ("Just a Play" from Hong Yin II), I thought, Hua must be sick so that she can start to learn Falun Dafa.
I introduced Falun Dafa to Hua. Because she was urgent to cure her illness, she completed listening to the lectures of Master in Jinan quickly. Because Hua had a great predestined relationship with the Fa, the miracle appeared soon. Her cancer pains disappeared quickly, and she became normal, as good as new. Hua's changes moved her husband, Baogang, who was practicing another religion, to also begin diligently learning Falun Dafa.
But Hua was still an ordinary person and started to live like ordinary people again. She would not listen to the words of fellow practitioners, and also said, "I only believe in science."
One time Hua quarreled with her neighbors, and vomited blood afterwards. After that she could no longer get up, and the cancer pains kept her from falling asleep. No medicine had any effect on her. The doctor said there was no hope and they should prepare for her funeral.
Facing death, Hua wanted to cultivate again. She said to her husband Baogang, "If I get well again, this time I will go back to my old home and bring Falun Dafa to my relatives. I don't fear anything, I am already a dead person." Miraculously, Hua got well again. Now she is preparing to go back to her old home to spread Falun Dafa.
Mr. Zhang's wife and grandson have also started to learn Dafa. The five of them have formed a Fa study group.
Mr. Zhang, Hua and their relatives are now fellow practitioners again. Let us cultivate in Falun Dafa together and recognize the true meaning of life. At the same time, we should memorize Master's words: "Dafa is serious," and "Once your mind is not right, you will be ruined at once". (Zhuan Falun, English version in 2000)
