2. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. An Jingtao Tortured at the No.1 Detention Center
Policemen waiting outside of practitioner Mr. Wu Yanlong's home arrested practitioner Ms. An Jingtao on March 30, 2006 when she went to visit Mr. Wu. They forcibly took her to the Tiefeng Police Department for physical abuse. Her sister Ms. Chen Yongtao and her mother Ms. An Chunying were successively arrested. Ms. An has been held over seven months already at the Qiqihar City No.1 Detention Center. She is presently staging a hunger strike and is very weak. Personnel from the Longhua Police Station of the Tiefeng Police Department ordered her family to pay 8,000 Yuan bail "deposit." Another practitioner surnamed Wu is on a hunger strike with her.

3. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Yang Dejun and His Son Yang Xi Arrested
Police arrested practitioner Mr. Yang Xi, a student in the Futian District, Shenzhen City when he was distributing truth-clarifying materials the afternoon of November 9, 2006. Police ransacked his home and confiscated some truth clarification materials and his computer. They also arrested his father Mr. Yang Dejun and his older sister Ms. Yang Tingting who is also a student. A family member took Yang Tingting back home at night, but Yang Dejun and Yang Xi were sent into a detention center.
4. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Zhang Yinglan Arrested
Personnel from the Shixian Town Police Station in Tumen City, Jilin Province went to harass many practitioners and confiscated some practitioners' Dafa books and Master's pictures at 5:00 p.m. on October 14, 2006. Police arrested Ms. Zhang Yinglan at night and also Ms. Wang Yuxia, who was working at the same workplace. They also ransacked their houses.

5. [Quwo County, Shanxi Province] Persecution of Practitioner Dong Qingli
Villagers beat practitioner Mr. Dong Qingli from Quwo County, Shanxi Province. He escaped eventually in March 2006 but was reported to police the next day. Police went to Dong's home to arrest him. They failed twice because Dong was not at home. Someone reported him again when he was at home, and police arrested him as well as his wife. Their parents, one with a disabled leg, had to take care of the couple's child. The couple was held at the county detention center for six months.
Dong Qingli was sentenced to four years of imprisonment at the county's court in September 2006. He has been put into the Qi County Prison. His wife was released after six months of detention.
Police often went to practitioner Mr. Wang Zhongyuan's home to arrest him, so Wang had to live in exile for several months. When he went back to help his neighbor one day, police caught him, but he escaped with some villagers' help. The police then took two of his family members as hostages.

6. [Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Zhang Yuzhen Persecuted After Six Years of Illegal Imprisonment
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuzhen should be released on November 10, 2006 after her six years of imprisonment; however, she was transferred from the Women's Prison to the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Jiangxi Province.

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Wang Yanjie and Other Practitioners Arrested
Police arrested practitioners Ms. Wang Yanjie (50 years old), Mr. Shi Geng (42 years old), Ms. Li Yang (52 years old) and Mr. Li Hongwei from Huanggu District at Wang Yanjie's home on October 8, 2006. Police also confiscated a computer from Wang Yanjie and Li Geng's homes respectively, as well as some copies of "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," truth-clarifying materials and other property.
8. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Mao Maonu Arrested and Sent to a Brainwashing Center
A dozen personnel from Nanchang City's "610 Office" and two people from Nanchang University's Police Station and from the Nanchang City Coach Company went to practitioner Mao Maonu's home at 6:00 p.m. on November 13, 2006. They arrested Mao, who had just returned home, and sent her to a brainwashing center located in a hostel in Nanchang City.
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Persecution Account of Practitioner Zhou Haiyan
Personnel from a Street Administrative Office in Dalian City's Development Zone duped practitioner Ms. Zhou Haiyan into going to a brainwashing session on October 31, 2006. Zhou Haiyan is now held at the Huanbao Hotel in Dalian City. Several other practitioners arrested from different districts in the city are being held at the same hotel.

Six practitioners from Baotou City ¡V Ms. Zhao Lijun, Xiao Ma, Xiao Meng, Xiao Dong, Mr. Li Zhenjiang (from Donghe City) and Ms. Han Sumang (from Huhehaote City) were arrested on October 1, 2006. Four Falun Dafa materials production centers were destroyed.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] A Woman Practitioner Held at a Frontier Defense Police Station
Personnel from the Longwangmiao Frontier Defense Police Station arrested a woman practitioner (in her 30's) the afternoon of November 13, 2006 while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. This practitioner lives in the Gucheng Residential Area, Jinzhou District, and started practicing Falun Dafa less than two years ago. She is being held at the police station at present.
13. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Continued Report of the Persecution of Practitioner Liu Jinye
Practitioner Ms. Liu Jinye retired from the South Railway Station Office in Zhangjiakou City. When she went back home one day in the end of April 2006, policemen waiting outside of her home arrested her and put her into the Yaojiazhuang Police Station. Police confiscated all her Dafa books and personal belongings, including a VCD. Two days later she was sent to the Shisanli Detention Center in Zhangjiakou City. She was later transferred to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City. After she was held there for over 20 days, personnel from the Gaoxin District Police Department in Zhangjiakou City sent her back to the detention center for further persecution. The Qiaodong Prosecutor Office is planning to put Liu Jinye on trial.
14. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Liu Fengyun Sentenced
Personnel from the Dehui City National Security Team and from the Changchun City Police Department's No.1 Section arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Fengyun on July 8, 2006 and held her at the Dehui City Detention Center for persecution. During the 130 days of detention, no family has been allowed to see her.

Practitioner Ms. Yu Hong from Yangjiaping in Chongqing City was arrested on September 28, 2006. Policemen searched her house and confiscated a computer, a printer and some truth-clarifying materials. Yu Hong is currently being held at the Jiulongpo District Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Wei clarified the truth at the Laixi Bus Station and was reported to the police.
