For seven years, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Sui Shuying has been frequently mistreated. The whole family lives a life of fear under the persecution. Her husband was mistreated because he did not give up practicing Falun Gong. Ms. Sui Shuying, who is nearly 60 years old, worked at the Production Management Office of Longkou City Paper Factory. Since July 20, 1999, Jiang's regime has persecuted Falun Gong. The CCP members of her employer, coerced by "higher ranking officers," put these two older people under house arrest. Seven or eight people watched them 24 hours a day. They did not allow the couple's daughter and son to even go to work.

On June 4, 2001, five policemen broke into her house. They arrested her and took her to the city police department, where she was detained a whole night. Police extorted 1000 yuan from her employer and her family members, and they extorted another 3000 yuan later. On the second afternoon she was released.

On July 1, 2002, the same group of policemen searched her house. She was detained another night at the police department. She was taken to Zhangjiagou Detention Center the second day. The guards restrained her in a metal chair with metal chains, handcuffs, and anklets. She was not allowed to sleep day or night. Ms. Sui went on a hunger strike to protest. She was tortured for half a month to such a degree that her hands and feet could not move, and she could not take care of herself. She was taken to the Longkou City Xiadingjia brainwashing center and was tortured there. Her daughter was forced to accompany her to take care of her. Wang Zhi'an (male officer) forced her to write the three statements. She was tortured mentally for over 70 days, and they extorted 2000 yuan from her. She has been detained twice and has had over 10,000 yuan extorted from her in total. She has been severely hurt both physically and mentally. After she returned home, she was harassed frequently by calls from the 610 Office.
