(Clearwisdom.net) On one occasion a local practitioner blamed me and several other practitioners after we had forgotten to do a certain thing. He left me with a very bad impression. When I was close to removing this attachment, I had a chance to work with him again, but he left abruptly without saying goodbye. He hurt my feelings again. Although he had a pretty good reputation among practitioners, I was left with a bad impression of him. There is another practitioner who likes spreading rumors, which has caused conflicts among several practitioners. The rumors were always one-sided stories. This practitioner left me with a bad impression as well.

When practitioners do things together, it is hard to avoid having different opinions, and occasionally there are conflicts. However, as practitioners we should look inward. What is the attachment that I need to remove? I know the attachment that I should eliminate is judging other practitioners. Moreover, I should look inward to examine myself to see if sometimes I, too, make the same mistakes.

Master has said,

"So, regardless of the setting or circumstances in which you run into problems, you must maintain a compassionate and merciful heart in handling everything. If you cannot love your enemy, then you cannot reach Consummation. (Applause) Then why is it that when an ordinary person angers you, you cannot forgive him?! And instead you argue and fight with him like an everyday person? Doesn’t this also hold true for the interactions among practitioners?" ("Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference in Australia") Therefore, we should stop judging other practitioners. In the future, when practitioners need to cooperate, we should have a higher standard and put the group first. Together we can do things well and improve ourselves. I wanted to share this and hope that practitioners will look for their own shortcomings. Let's focus on studying and cultivating, and advance together diligently.
