(Clearwisdom.net) Recently we as a one body successfully rescued some practitioners who'd been illegally arrested in our area. During the process we cooperated closely and experienced the power of acting as one body. The evil was greatly shaken, and our fellow practitioners were set free.
One afternoon Xiao Xia and two other practitioners went out to distribute truth-clarifying materials. One of them unknowingly entered a heavily guarded area with many security cameras to distribute materials. She was discovered and followed by security guards. The guards stopped her at the gate. She managed to walk free with righteous thoughts. When she got outside she told the second practitioner, "I've been targeted. Please leave here immediately." The two separated and went home by different routes.
When Xiao Xia passed by the front gate the security guards chased him and arrested him.
After the other two practitioners arrived home they learned that Xiao Xia had yet to return. They asked around and learned that Xiao Xia had been taken to the local police station, then sent directly to the city custodial station.
These two practitioners related the incident to another practitioner from their study group. This practitioner had walked out of the custodial station with righteous thoughts several times. He firmly believes in Dafa and has a Fa based understanding of the issues.
He could see that these two practitioners had the attachment of fear and he pointed it out to them directly. He told them, "You want to clarify the truth, yet you're afraid to take responsibility if anything happens. How can you handle things well if you have such a strong attachment and so much human sentiment?" He encouraged them with Teacher's Fa.
Teacher said in "To the Chicago Fa Conference,"
"Whatever you experience during your cultivation--whether good or bad--is good, for it comes about only because you are cultivating."
Then he told them, "These are the same things that happened to me. What are we afraid of? Let's go and ask them to release our practitioner." The first two practitioners recognized their attachments and grew more confident. The third practitioner went and clarified the truth to the security guards who had arrested Xiao Xia that very day. One of the guards who learned the truth withdrew from the Communist Youth League.
Two days later the police notified the family that they had arrested Xiao Xia and asked them to send him some clothes. The practitioner who clarified the truth to the guards accompanied the family members to deliver the clothes and took the opportunity to clarify the truth. He also demanded that the police release the practitioner. At the same time all of the area practitioners were notified to send forth righteous thoughts, and those who were able came to send forth righteous thoughts near the police station.
When they got to the police station they went directly to the director's office. The practitioner clarified the truth to them and told them about the Nine Commentaries. At first the director threatened the practitioner, saying, "You are a Falun Gong practitioner." The practitioner replied, "Yes, I'm fortunate and honored to be a Dafa practitioner. I am happy to give people copies of the Nine Commentaries openly and with dignity, because I have nothing to hide. We cultivate "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," while the wicked Communist Party practices deceit, cruelty, and violence. They cheat the Chinese people. You have chosen to side with the evil and attack righteousness. You have all been cheated and poisoned by the lies on TV. I hope you will read the Nine Commentaries and stop persecuting Falun Gong." Finally the director smiled and asked the practitioner to go see the chief director of the Public Security Bureau. The practitioner realized that it was time to clarify the truth to the bureau chief.
When they arrived at the Public Security Bureau they met a director on the fourth floor. The practitioner explained to him the purpose of their visit. He asked to see the bureau chief. He told the chief about the Nine Commentaries, about how corrupt the Communist Party was, and he also told him that he should choose a good future for himself. The chief director told him he should speak with the section director, but they soon returned to the director's office. The director wasn't happy and asked them what they wanted. The practitioner told him, "You've directed your subordinates to arrest practitioners who cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. You yourself signed the paperwork authorizing them to send our practitioners to the custodial station. Aren't you the very person we should see?" The family member (also a practitioner) was sending forth righteous thoughts while the practitioner clarified the truth to the director. The section director is responsible for committing many evil acts, and has persecuted countless Dafa practitioners. At the beginning he refused to listen no matter what the practitioner said. He flew into a fury and told one of his staff members to call the police and threatened to record the conversation, but the practitioner was unmoved by his actions. Just as Teacher told us,
"...just by having your heart unaffected you will be able to handle all situations." ("Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
The practitioner kept clarifying truth to him. In the end he refused to do anything and told them they should go to the City Bureau. The practitioner said, "You dare to persecute good people, but you're afraid to admit it." Then, right in front of the section director the practitioner told the family member, "This is the man that is persecuting your son. Follow him no matter where he goes, and tell his family members, his wife, his children and his neighbors that he is persecuting good people."
The evil is afraid of being exposed. The section director told the practitioner it was none of his business and pushed him out of the office. The family member, however, followed the director all morning. In the afternoon he tricked the family member and ran away. After a whole day the other practitioners were exhausted and some human attachments surfaced. They complained that the family member was too timid.
The next day the practitioners looked within and rectified their human hearts. They went back to the director's office. The figured out a way to deal with the director if he ran away again. They bought white cloth, a writing brush and ink and wrote on the cloth the facts concerning the illegal arrest and detention of Dafa practitioners. They had the family members bring it with them. If the director ran away again they would unfold the banner in the yard of the Security Bureau. At the same time they put notices on the Internet asking overseas practitioners to make phone calls to the Security Bureau. They also posted information on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website to expose the evil. They sent forth righteous thoughts near the Security Bureau, and practitioners with open Celestial Eyes saw countless beautiful Falun of every color above the Security Bureau building.
During the process, the practitioners concentrated on doing what they were supposed to do and were not attached to the outcome. Along the way Teacher kept giving them hints. On the third day the evil could no longer bear the pressure and notified the family that they could take Xiao Xia home.
