Australian State Premier: Persecution of Falun Gong Is Against the Values Respected in the 21st Century (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Member of the Australian Labor Party Dr. Carmen Lawrence attended the rally entitled "Join Together to Stop the CCP from Harvesting Organs of Living Falun Gong Practitioners" held in front of the Parliament House in Canberra on October 17, 2006. She said that the persecution of Falun Gong is against the values respected in the 21^st century. Dr. Lawrence was the first woman to be elected Premier of Western Australia in 1990, a Federal Member in 1994, and the first well-received Labor Party member when she was the President of the Australian Labor Party in 2003. She has devoted herself to refugee policies and democracy reform.

Nineteen Practitioners Arrested in Harbin City, Mr. Zhang Zhong Died in Custody after Torture and Abuse

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 10, 2006, nineteen Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested in Harbin City. Among these, Mr. Zhang Zhong from Daqing City died in the police hospital after severe torture. Details are yet to be investigated.

Ms. Li Xiuju from Yishui County of Shandong Province Died As a Result of Persecution in 2002

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Li Xiuju lived in Longwan Village, Cuijiayu Town, Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. Before practicing Falun Gong, she had many diseases such as chronic pulmonary emphysema, migraines, pains in her back and legs, high blood pressure, brain thrombus and so on. However, not long after she started practicing Falun Gong in 1998, all her problems were gone. She became energetic and was able to help her husband on the farm. She often said, "It is Master who saved me. Master is my savior."
