No matter what the environment, it is hard to abandon human attachments. But they have to be gotten rid of eventually, especially the attachment to qing. (Qing encompasses concepts such as sentiment, emotion, affection, inclination, interest, etc.) If we cannot discern our fundamental attachment, if we are deeply and unconsciously involved in it, the evil beings will exploit this loophole and interfere with us. This can result not only in our being unable to upgrade ourselves, but also we will be unable to fulfill the mission of saving sentient beings.
Our fellow practitioners are very honest and kind. They often study the Fa and participate together in Falun Dafa-related activities. Sometimes, affection may grow between single male and female practitioners. In cases where each party enjoys the company of the other, many good marriages have resulted, and others wish them happiness. Teacher also said that young practitioners should get married. Sometimes, however, the practitioners are not single. Improper love affairs should not occur among practitioners. Once something like this occurs and the practitioners involved do not realize it, the evil may take advantage of the attachment and interfere relentlessly. It severely affects practitioners' cultivation practice and Dafa work, as well.
I know a practitioner who did not regularly attend group study and experience sharing. For a long time he was unable to break through the test of qing. When the female practitioner involved failed to persuade him to remove this attachment, he developed hatred towards her. When she tried to avoid seeing him, he began to harass her by making phone calls and sending her emails. Consequently, the female practitioner, an innocent woman, felt greatly hurt. The evil made use of his attachment and took advantage of her kind-heartedness. Neither practitioner realized that they had been interfered with by the evil, which had strengthened their attachments in order to persecute them further. They felt too ashamed to let others practitioners know about it. He did not step out of qing until other practitioners felt that something was wrong between the two of them and started to exchange understandings and study the Fa together with them.
This incident lasted a long time and exhausted these practitioners both physically and spiritually. If they could have realized earlier that the evil beings were making use of their attachments and enlarging the tribulation, it would have been much easier for them to pass the test. When such things happen, do not feel ashamed to let fellow practitioners know: the evil beings are afraid of being exposed. When you feel that it's hard to pass a test, go and find fellow practitioners to study the Fa and share experiences with. At the same time, step forward and participate in activities to validate the Fa. As long as we can do well the three things that Master asks us to do, we can pass the tests quickly, no matter how tough the tribulations are.
