(Clearwisdom.net) It has been six years since Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the large-scale illegal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners on July 20, 1999. More than 2,700 Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China have been confirmed to have lost their lives. In order to stop the persecution and to expose the crime of genocide the CCP has committed against Falun Gong, Ukrainian practitioners held peaceful activities to protest in Donetsk City from 10:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on July 23, 2005.

During the activity, the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. The practitioners also displayed part of the "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition" and some pictures of Falun Gong's spreading around the world. Paper lotus flowers were handmade and given out to children to mark support for the project to rescue the orphans of Falun Gong practitioners from China.
