(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher has asked Dafa practitioners to do the three things well. When we study the Fa, however, some of us come across serious interference, which is usually unintentionally from ourselves. For example, we think about ways to validate the Fa as we study the Fa, such as sending practitioner A some materials, sharing experiences with practitioner B, or how to help practitioner C, etc. Aren't these attachments to doing things interfering with Fa study?

Sometimes, when we are reading the Fa, our thoughts are not on the Fa. We need to root out this situation, because it is interference of an intentional mindset. We think, "I've read the book so many times. When I read this sentence, I know what the next one will be. I am so familiar with that, there's nothing new for me." As a result, we try to analyze the meaning behind a sentence or a section and try to figure out the current situation of the Fa rectification.

When we pay attention to the meaning behind the words as we study the Fa, our thoughts will be on considering a certain connotation, instead of being on the Fa. We might even forget what we read.

Fa study manifests in other dimensions. When practitioners study the Fa, all of the bad thoughts, karma, bad ideas, and interference are being eliminated. Meanwhile, layer after layer of countless lives in the universe are assimilating to the Fa. Why does Teacher keep emphasizing the importance of Fa study? Why is it that the first thing practitioners should do is study the Fa well? Its meaning is not just limited to this dimension, but manifests truly in other dimensions -- "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master." (from Zhuan Falun, Lecture 1)

Similarly, Falun Gong practitioners' enlightenment to principles should come from reading the Fa thoroughly, so that after the completion of the integral transformation in other dimensions, the principles will manifest layer by layer in our brains in this dimension. Without the transformations in other dimensions, our physical brains won't produce inspiration. Therefore, we are not supposed to dig into the meaning word by word. Neither should we turn words over in our mind, nor extend the meaning of words; we should keep our mind on the words of the Fa when we study the Fa. We should be clear about what Teacher says in the articles and in every section of an article. When we study the Fa, both Zhuan Falun and Teacher's articles. We should follow the sequence systematically, instead of skipping over anything.

Also, some practitioners do not study Zhuan Falun diligently, because they prefer to read Teacher's new articles, assuming they might understand higher principles and the current direction of the Fa rectification. In fact, if we don't study Zhuan Falun well, we won't understand the principles of Teacher's new articles well, because all of these depend on our strong foundation gained from solid study of Zhuan Falun daily.

What I mentioned is not necessarily a common phenomenon. Please kindly point out anything in my understanding that is incorrect.
