Facts of the Persecution

1. Seventy-Year-Old Woman Had Her Teeth Forcibly Pulled out in Anhui Detention Center

Anhui Women's Forced Labor Camp is located on Qingxi road at the west suburb of Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is a place where Falun Dafa practitioners are persecuted. One female practitioner, nearly 70 years old, was arrested for setting up loudspeakers outside of the camp to tell the facts of the persecution. After she was brought in, the policemen chained her spread eagle to a wooden board. This practitioner's teeth were then pulled out.

2. The Fourth Prison Area of Tianjin Women's Prison Forcibly Brainwashes Falun Dafa Practitioners

Since July 2004, the 610 Office in Tianjin City has intensified its persecution of practitioners and has commanded every prison to reach a certain target "transformation" rate. They use methods such as long-term standing torture, group "learning" in the evening (brainwashing), sleep deprivation, separating practitioners to different rooms and so on. The Fourth Prison district forced the steadfast practitioners to sit on the bench. During this time period, the practitioners were not allowed to stand up, even for daily activities such as eating meals, washing dishes, and drinking water. After a long time, the skin on their buttocks began to feel like a knife was cutting into it. Some practitioners' buttocks had quarter-sized scabs on them. They suffered a heat rash where their hands and feet were folded against each other. Some elderly practitioners would have a hard time walking due to sitting on the bench for an extended period of time.

3. Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in the Hubei Brainwashing Center

The Hubei Province Center for Political and Judiciary Education is in reality a brainwashing center that persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners. The policemen and collaborators are seemingly kind to Falun Dafa practitioners on the surface. However, they use mental tricks, deception and threats, and twisted logic attacking Falun Dafa and Teacher on practitioners. They also deprive practitioners of sleep. They use all kinds of base means to threaten and deceive practitioners, such as if one has not been "transformed," one will be sentenced, forced to perform slave labor, have one's public service dismissed and be forced to write the so-called guarantee statement.

4. Gao Shukui, from Anyang Sanitation Office, Henan Province, Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Aiping

Li Aiping, who worked in the solid waste treatment office in Anyang city, Henan Province was continually persecuted by the Party committee secretary in Anyang Sanitation Office simply because she practiced Falun Dafa. Over the past five years, Li Aiping has been arrested to a brainwashing class three times. Once, she was arrested by the public security department under request of Gao Shukui, who unlawfully detained her for three days. For two years, her boss did not allow Li Aiping to work. They stopped paying her salary and often monitored her. They broke into her house and ransacked it several times. They extended her work hours arbitrarily and did not allow her to rest on holidays. On August 2, 2004, Li Aiping was arrested to a 610 Office brainwashing class. She went on a hunger strike and was released after she became very weak from torture. However, Gao Shukui and Wang Yuansheng, who were officers in the 610 Office, still arranged for 6 people to monitor Li Aiping at her house. She was forced to leave home to avoid the persecution. Thereafter, Gao Shukui published an "announcement" in the local newspaper, unlawfully firing Li Aiping.
