Facts of the Persecution

1. Falun Dafa Practitioners Mr. Wen Yujie and His Wife Wu Cuiying Persecuted in Jieshou City, Anhui Province

During the past five years, Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Wen Yujie and his wife Wu Cuiying have had their homes ransacked eight times, and were unlawfully detained for varying lengths of time. Wen Yujie, who is in his 60s, has been forced into homelessness, and Wu Cuiying has been sentenced to forced labor.

2. Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioner Jia Xiufang and Her Mother in Jinan City

On February 24, 2005, an article on Clearwisdom.net reported the illegal arrest of practitioner Jia Jun and her mother, Jia Xiufang, by officers from Nanquanfu Police Station in Licheng District, Jinan City. The details of their arrest are as follows:

Jia Xiufang was arrested when her granddaughter, the daughter of Jia Jun, was only six months old. Practitioners constantly phoned the Nanquanfu Police Station to clarify the truth, and as a result Jia Jun was eventually released.

Jia Xiufang, an employee from the Jinan Fiber Factory was abducted by personnel from the Licheng District 610 Office and officers from the Licheng Police Department. She was sent to the Liuchangshan Brainwashing Class in Jinan City. Recently, Jia Xiufang was temporarily released to take care of her daughter who again gave birth. The police monitored Jia Jun, and personnel from the 610 Office and the police department ransacked Jia Jun's home. There, they found Jia Xiufang and abducted her, justifying it by claiming it was because they didn't send her to the brainwashing class several years ago as they had planned. Jia Xiufang's residence near the factory is also being monitored. Ever since Jia Xiufang was sent to Liuchangshan Brainwashing Class, she has been holding a hunger strike protesting the persecution. It has been over twelve days and she is now very weak. The perpetrators won't allow her family to meet with her. Her current situation is unknown.

3. Crimes of Ma Tiezhu from the Dingzhou City 610 Office in Hebei Province

Ma Tiezhu is head of Section 1 of the Dingzhou City Police Department in Hebei Province. He is extremely vicious and is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. He fined about 100 practitioners in Haotouzhuang County and ordered a dozen practitioners to be brutally beaten and sent to detention centers and custody centers. After he was transferred to the police department, he became even more devoted to the persecution. Countless practitioners were sent to detention centers, custody centers and prisons. Some practitioners were tortured to death, including Sun Shouqi and Wang Juan.
