1. Facts of Jiyuan City, Henan Province Police Officers Wang Mingli and Wang Guoyou Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners

Wang Mingli, a woman in her 40's, and Wang Guoyou, a man in his 40's, are the Section Chief and the Political Director, respectively, of the State Security Office in the Jiyuan City Police Department, Henan Province. They have been promoted to Section Chief and Political Commissar of the National Security Section in the Jiyuan City Police Department due to their activities in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. These two people are notoriously cruel and merciless in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. The two have arranged eight brainwashing sessions that 110 Falun Gong practitioners were forced to attend. Under the two of them, over 250 Falun Gong practitioners have either been arrested, detained, sent to forced labor camps, or forced to attend brainwashing sessions. There have been many incidents of Falun Gong practitioners being interrogated or their homes being searched. Twenty-three Falun Gong practitioners were unlawfully sent to forced labor camps for one to three years. In addition, one practitioner was sentenced to jail. By freely framing Falun Gong practitioners in what they called "spreading letters, books, and Falun Gong materials," they detained more than 150 practitioners in detention centers or police stations. Among the 150 practitioners, more than 10 were detained repeatedly and suffered all kinds of hardships. They also extorted money from practitioners and their family members. According to incomplete statistics, they have unlawfully fined a total of 204,375 yuan from 84 people.

2. Facts of Neihuang City Officers of Henan Province Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners

Since 1999, the Police Department, Section of Politics and Law, and the 610 Office of Neihuang City, Henan Province have been harshly persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Many practitioners were unlawfully detained, sentenced, sent to forced labor camps or fined. Whenever sensitive dates come, or when the Communist Party holds a major meeting, people from the 610 Office would visit Falun Gong practitioners' homes every day to watch them. Some practitioner couples were abducted, leaving their farms unattended.
