1. Crimes Committed by Bayuquan District State Security Police Officer Wang Hongkui from Yingkou City, Liaoning Province

Bayuquan District State Security police officer, Wang Hongkui, from Yingkou City, Liaoning Province has extorted over 500,000 yuan from Falun Dafa practitioners since the persecution started in July 20, 1999. On November 25, 2004, the police, led by Wang Hongkui simultaneously arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Cuihong (in her 60s), Yang Lijun (a doctor about 60 years old, gender unknown), and another practitioner whose last name is Yao. They sent them to a brainwashing class held in Yingkou City. At the end of July 2004, Wang Hongkui destroyed a Falun Dafa material production center, arrested practitioner Gong Deshuang, and also arrested practitioners Yan Bo (gender unknown), Ms. Yang Yuanyuan and another female practitioner who were not present at the materials center. Yan Bo was released fifteen days later after Wang extorted 10,000 yuan from him. Wang had extorted 20,000 yuan from Yan Bo previously.

2. Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Hongzhi is on Trial Because She Clarified the Truth

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Hongzhi from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province is 68 years old. She is being held in the Chengdu City Detention Center. On February 15, 2004, she was reported when trying to hang a Falun Dafa banner explaining the truth about the persecution near the Jinsha bus-station. She was arrested by police from the Shiren Substation, detained for 28 hours, and then sent to the Chengdu City Detention Center. Her Falun Dafa Books and truth-clarifying materials were all confiscated when her home was ransacked. Police transferred her "files" to the Qingyang District Procuratorate and Qingyang District Court in Chengdu City.

3. Viciousness of Police in the Jiamusi Labor Camp in Heilongjiang Province

Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Cheng Xiuling and seventeen other practitioners refused to succumb to brainwashing. The police inside the Jiamusi Labor Camp in Heilongjiang Province then forced them to sit on small stools for a long time. One male police guard kicked Ms. Li Guiqin in the face so hard that she nearly passed out. His kick knocked out two of her teeth. This caused severe bleeding, which she tried to control by biting on a roll of bathroom tissues, but she still could not stop the bleeding. The police then violently grabbed her hair, and banged her head against the wall, trying to kill her. Ms. Chen was further punished by being put inside a storage room, and was not allowed to close her eyes for four entire days. Ms. Liu Yuekun could not stand very long, because she suffers from femoral head necrosis. The police still violently kicked her, and beat her. Police officer He Qiang (male) slapped Ms. Liu Yuekun's face very hard. He beat her so violently that she fell to the floor. Her face was covered with purple bruises. She was bedridden for several days, and could not take care of herself.

4. Ms. Zhang Shumin from Longkou City, Shandong Province, Ms. Mu Xiangshun and Her Husband from Langao Town Are Mistreated

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Shumin is forty-one years old and lives in Beizaoqian Village, Longkou Development District, Longkou City, Shandong Province. Because she is steadfast in her belief, she has been detained and tortured numerous times. She lost two teeth when the police beat her. During one incident, the police dug a hole in the sand at the beach, and threatened to bury her alive! She was released after she was tortured to the verge of death. In the spring of 2002, Ms. Zhang was arrested and held at the 610 Office detention center, where police beat her with steel wire, and shocked her with an electric baton. She was sentenced to two years in a labor camp. The camp refused to accept her, because of her severe heart condition. The 610 Office then sent her to a brainwashing class held in Xiadingjia. In the evening, Ms. Zhang jumped out of the window from the second floor, and escaped from the center. She was arrested again in August 2004, and sentenced to two years in the Zibo Labor Camp.

On the evening of September 27, 2004, police from the Langao Town Substation stormed into Ms. Mu Xiangshun's home, and arrested her and her husband. They tortured them for the entire night. The next day, the police fabricated evidence by posting a truth-clarification sticker on an electric utility pole, then they forced Ms. Mu and her husband to stand beside the pole while they took a picture. On the afternoon of September 28, the couple was sent to the Zhangjiagou Prison. On October 25, 2004, they were transferred to the Wangcun Labor Camp in Zibo City.
