The Crimes of Police Officer Gao Fei at the Handan City Labor Camp

Gao Fei (male) is a 610 Office police guard in the Handan City Labor Camp in Hebei Province. He inhumanly tortured Falun Dafa practitioners mentally and physically. Before the 2003 Spring Festival, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Haishan went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Because of this, he was tied up on a metal bed and beaten by Gao Fei repeatedly. Gao Fei tried to force Mr. Li to write the "guarantee statements" but Mr. Li refused. Gao then used two high voltage electric batons to shock Mr. Li's head, neck and other sensitive areas. Gao tortured Mr. Li until 11 p.m., almost killing him.

Another Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Zhao Shenxing, used to be a mushroom production expert in Wu-an City, Hebei Province. Around June 7, 2004, he was arrested by Zhang Lihua (male), and other police officers from the Wu-an City Police Station, and sentenced to forced labor at the Handan City Labor Camp in September 2004. Gao Fei and other police pulled Mr. Zhao's arms straight out to his side and handcuffed his wrists to a bunk bed, and then beat him with wooden sticks, electric batons and rubber batons. Guo Fei beat Mr. Zhao so hard that the wooden stick he used was broken into pieces. Eventually, Mr. Zhao Shenxing suffered a mental collapse as a result of the inhuman abuse.

Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted by Police from the Mawang Substation, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing City

Around April 2004, many banners supporting Falun Dafa were posted near the Mawang Elementary School and the Jiulongpo District Neighborhood Office in Chongqing City. Police were lying in wait near the banners. On the morning of July 16, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Hongrong from Mawang First Village was arrested when cutting down a banner with a pair of scissors. She went on a hunger strike without water to protest the illegal arrest, and was released. The next day, police from the Mawang Substation went to Ms. Li Hongrong's home and arrested her, and sentenced her to one year at the Chongqing City Women's Labor Camp. Ms. Li Hongrong's son, Li Wenlong, lives in the Mawang Third Village. He was arrested by police from the Chongqing Steel Corporation Security Station in December 2000, because he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, and was sentenced to two years of forced labor in the Xishanping Labor Camp. In May 2003, Mr. Li Wenlong was sentenced to another eighteen months of forced labor, and endured numerous tortures. Mr. Li Wenlong's wife, Liu Ping, was arrested by police on July 1, 2001, at her home because police said she was distributing "truth clarifying materials." Ms. Liu was then detained for three months in the Jiulongpo Detention Center. In January 2002, Ms. Liu Ping was sent to a brainwashing class held at the Chongqing City Steel Corporation, where she was held for another three months. In September 2002, the police sentenced Ms. Liu Ping to one year of forced labor, and sent her to a brainwashing class again in August 2004. The couple's young child was left at home without parental care while both of them were in detention.

On November 3, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tan Bifen was abducted by plainclothes police officers and taken to the Mawang Police Substation, while clarifying the truth on a public sidewalk. The police sent her to a detention center. On November 8, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tang Wanxiu was reported for clarifying the truth in her own yard. Police officers from the Mawang Fifth Village sentenced her to two years of forced labor in the Chongqing City Women's Labor Camp. Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. He Kunliang, who formerly lived in the Mawang Third Village, was sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2000 because he went to Beijing to validate the Fa. He was sentenced to another three years of forced labor in 2002, after he attended a Fa conference in Xiaoquan. Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Deng Yangsheng and others who live in the Mawang Fifth Village are constantly monitored and harassed by the police, simply because they steadfastly continue to cultivate Falun Dafa.
