(Clearwisdom.net) After reading Master's new article "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be", I was touched deeply. We know that Master only points out our problems and corrects our path when we, as a whole, have problems. Currently, with the change in the situation of the Fa rectification and practitioners' truth clarification, the environment is easing up and the situation of persecution is changing significantly. This is actually a very good thing. However, due to our attachments and interference from human notions, we have exhibited the state of slacking off to some degree. Some of the old attachments that we thought we had gotten rid of started coming back, such as: not making the best use of time, attachment to qing, and laziness. All of these are very dangerous and have led to some practitioners' arrests in some areas. Doesn't this have something to do with our slacking off as a whole?
In fact, Master warned us a long time ago:
"Well, actually, with some students it's not that their human attachments have been cultivated away but that the students have been too scared to do anything out of line, and if the environment eases up a little bit they will dare to do those things again. That's no good. If a person can't cultivate in the Fa, then he isn't able to truly understand the Fa. Only when a person has truly grasped the Fa can he walk the path righteously and can his being be assured a good outcome. Otherwise that kind of being remains in the most perilous situation, because the evil can take advantage of his gaps at any time." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York")
Therefore, we should be clear on this: we are not cultivating by going through difficulties and harsh situations arranged by the old forces; instead, we cultivate in the Fa and that is what makes us true Dafa disciples.
As a true Dafa disciple, no matter how the environment is, we should always keep a righteous mind and never forget our responsibility and mission. We should treasure this precious opportunity and be worthy of Master's compassion and salvation. We should act according to Master's requirement, "Get rid of any attachment you have, and don't think about anything. Just do everything a Dafa disciple should do, and everything will be covered."(Guiding the Voyage) This is the state that a Dafa disciple should be in.
Last, let's use Master's words to encourage each other: "...but you should take fewer detours on this most magnificent, divine path; not leave reason for regret in your futures; and not fall so far behind in terms of levels. That is my hope, your hope, and the hope of the beings who are counting on you." ("The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be")
