(Clearwisdom.net) Before Hu Jintao's visit to Germany, Falun Gong practitioners toured government buildings with an anti-torture exhibition to let the staff know about the persecution of the spiritual practice in China. They also collected petition signatures calling for an end to the persecution. By November 2nd, the anti-torture exhibition had visited the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German Ministry of Domestic Affairs, the Presidential Palace and the headquarters of the CDU (Christian Democratic Union) political party.

The peace and harmony of the Falun Gong exercise movements and music were in sharp contrast to the brutal torture simulated by German practitioners at the exhibition. After learning about the persecution situation in China, many government officials signed the petition. After watching the anti-torture exhibition, many people directly approached the stand to sign their names. Several petition forms were not enough and sometimes queues even formed.

After taking leaflets, some people even came back to ask for leaflets for their colleagues. A government official working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told the practitioners in Chinese that he had visited China over twenty years ago and thus quite understood the evilness of the Chinese Communist Party. He hoped that China's new leader would make a wise decision to bring a prompt end to the persecution.
