(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of Wednesday, October 19, 2005, Czech viewers had a chance to watch a ten-minute television report about the practice of Falun Gong.
Practitioners performed the exercises and briefly informed the viewers about Falun Dafa's principles. One practitioner shared his experience and said that in the past he had many arguments with other people. Since he started the practice of cultivating Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, he changed his behavior and gets along much better with others.
Part of the report took place in Charles Square at a public event in Prague, the purpose of which was to clarify the truth about the Chinese government persecuting practitioners and violating their human rights. It was clearly revealed that the Chinese regime is persecuting Falun Gong because it grew too popular and because people who practice it are truthful. If the Chinese nation could eliminate fear and start to seek the truth, the terrible crimes of the communist regime would be revealed.
The viewers were also provided with an eyewitness account of the persecution. A Chinese woman who is now living in Germany visited Prague to talk about the conditions in Chinese labor camps. During her detention in one of these camps, she was ordered to give up her belief in the teachings of Falun Gong. When she refused to do so, she was beaten and humiliated. The practitioner revealed the fact that it was only because many people signed a petition for her release that she regained her freedom and was sent home after two years of imprisonment.
During the TV report, on the screen there appeared images of brutal methods of torture used against Falun Gong practitioners in labor camps, and photographs of practitioners who were tortured. The report also showed Czech Falun Gong websites, and the viewers were informed about how to learn the exercises and download materials from the Internet, along with where to find further information on what is happening in China.
At the end of the report, a video recording was shown of Mr. Li Honghzi, the founder of Falun Gong, demonstrating the meditation exercise.
The documentary revealed the beauty and benevolent nature of Falun Gong and in contrast, the violent nature of the communist regime in China. The absurdity of the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong was clearly evident.
