How are people from around the world going to attend the 2008 Olympics in Beijing without harassment when a member of a NSW dance group, Xue, is deported from China because he practices Falun Gong?
As a former Olympian, I have found the practice of exercises and meditation to be beneficial to my health and serenity.
I would consider it an insult to be banned from attending any Olympics by a government that tortures, kills and maims innocent lives.
The Olympic movement needs to look more closely at China's human rights issues before it is too late.
