Practitioner Bi Wenming Tortured to Death at the Dingxi Jail in Gansu Province
Even after the facts of the persecution of practitioner Jin Jiling were exposed earlier this year, guards at the Dingxi Jail in Gansu Province showed no remorse for their actions. On September 3, 2004, two Falun Dafa practitioners were beaten by jail inmates under the guards' instigation. Practitioner Bi Wenming was beaten so badly that his spleen ruptured and he died on the scene. More details follow.

Zhao Wenyu was a Falun Gong practitioner in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. She had been arrested many times for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and validating Falun Dafa. During detention, she suffered torture, brutal beatings and mental torment from coercive brainwashing. On February 3, 2004, when trying to escape illegal arrest by the police, she fell from a building. More than 20 days later, Yuqiang Police Station in Shijiazhuang City ordered her family to come to the police station to identify her body. The police covered up the persecution facts and tried to avoid responsibility. The explanation they provided to the family has many loopholes. More details of her story follow:
