(Clearwisdom.net) On the night of Sept. 7, 2004, 70 year-old Ms. Xie Zhaoqi and 59 year-old Ms. Liu Shaoman were abducted by police from the Chuangxin Police Station in Xinglongtai District of Panjin City, when they were putting up truth clarification posters. Approved by Liu Jingyu, deputy director of the State Security Brigade of the Xinglongtai District Police Department, the police detained them in the Panjin City Detention Center located at the north of Xingyou Street. The police from the Xinglongtai District Police Department have been interrogating and threatening them, and constantly trying to figure out the source of the posters. At the moment, they are in a desperate situation.
1. Xie Zhaoqi: retired engineer of the Liaohe Oil Field Institution
Ms. Xiezhaoqi, 70, graduated from the Cancun City Metallurgy & Geology School (currently Cancun Geology College) in 1958. She is a retired engineer from the Liaohe Oil Field Institute. She is kind, always ready to help, and respected everywhere.
Before obtaining Dafa in 1997, she suffered from numerous diseases like stomach trouble, heart disease, gynecological disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and neurasthenia. Since she was 30, she had been seeking medical help and taking traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine all the while. Her husband took care of all the household duties. After she began practicing Falun Dafa in 1997, all her diseases disappeared without a trace. Since then, she has experienced the benefits of good health.
Since the persecution of Dafa started in July 1999, Xie Zhaoqi has been aspiring to tell the world that "Falun Dafa is good" through her personal experiences. For that reason, she went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa in October 1999. She was then arrested and detained in the Liaohe Oil Field Detention Center for one month, and was then released. After that, the retirement office of the Liaohe Oil Field Institution harassed her constantly and tried to force her to write a statement saying she would give up practicing Dafa. She never cooperated with them.
Since Xie Zhaoqi benefited greatly from Dafa, she longed to share Dafa's boundlessness, profoundness, and wonderfulness with other people and especially awakening people baffled by the Jiang regime's lies. As a result, she was abducted again.
At 9 am, on the day after her arrest, someone knocked at her door. Since they were strangers, her family did not open the door. As a result, the intruders looked upset, saying that they were police and had come to search her home. When the police were denied entry, they began to beat on the door and called in more police.
Xie Zhaoqi's family was already very sad since she had been abducted. The police persisted in threatening and harassing them. The family felt extremely indignant and refused to give in to the police's unlawful acts.
2. Liu Shaoman: senior teacher of the No. 4 Xinglong Primary School of Liaohe Oil Field, and honored teacher
Liu Shaoman, 59, is an upright and kind person. She is a retired teacher from the No. 4 Xinglong Primary School of Liaohe Oil Field with 30 years teaching experience. Before retirement, she was given the "honored teacher" award many times.
Liu Shaoman's mother, brother and sister all died from health problems related to high blood pressure. Her blood pressure began to rise when she was 35 and she had to maintain her blood pressure by taking medicine. She still felt a lot of dizziness and pain everyday. Since she obtained Falun Dafa in August 1996, her blood pressure has normalized. She has never needed any medicine since then.
Not only has she benefited from Dafa physically, her personality also changed. After obtaining Dafa, she followed the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance," and worked more cautiously and conscientiously without seeking reward. She gave her "honored teacher" award selflessly to others. She is loved and esteemed by both teachers and students. All of her words and deeds sowed the seed of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" into the hearts of the school children.
Fu Lianyi, Liu Shaoman's husband, has been paralyzed for 10 years. She has waited upon him hand and foot everyday. Everyone, including the police who were deceived by the lies and involved in the persecution, admired and praised her for this.
When one practices, the whole family benefits. Previously Fu Lianyi could hardly sit up, now he can sit for long hours. Under the care of his wife, Fu Lianyi had a good disposition and rosy complexion. Their family was very harmonious.
Since Liu Shaoman benefited so much from Dafa, she distributed truth-clarifying materials to prevent people from being poisoned by the lies being spread. Consequently, the police abducted her. Currently, her husband has been left at home without care, and is in a lot of pain. Also, he is in a poor mental condition and is worried sick.
After Liu Shaoman was taken away, the police from the State Security Brigade and the Zhenxing Police Station stole her home key from her, then rushed into her house to ransack it. Fu Lianyi lay on a bed, unable to watch them.
Practitioners in Panjin City call on all people of conscience, both inside and outside of China, to lend a hand and rescue these two elderly people so that their families can be restored and Fu Lianyi can be attended to as soon as possible.
