Facts of the Persecution

1) Xiao Bo was the former director of Mulan County's Police Department in Heilongjiang Province. While he was in office, he was in charge of persecuting Dafa practitioners. Over 60 practitioners were detained, sentenced or sent to labor camps under his instruction. Now he has received karmic retribution. He has throat cancer. Even after some surgeries, he is still suffering from the cancer.

2) On July 17, 2004, Dafa practitioner Tao Yongguo from Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province was reported to police while clarifying the truth to people. That night, Mulan County Police Department National Security Section chief Wang Zhihua, captain Chen Pin and policemen Liu Jingbo and Sunchangli abducted Tao Yongguo. At present, Tao is still being detained in the Second Detention Center of Mulan County. On July 26, 2004, Jiang Yan, Jin, and several other policemen from First Police Station of Mulan Town, Mulan County broke into the home of practitioners Chang Yongfu and Zhang Qiurong, and forcibly took away the couple. Now they're detained in the First Detention Center of Mulan County.

3) On July 28, 2004, while distributing Dafa materials in the residential area of Shanxi Province Wheat Research Institute, Dafa practitioner Meng Liqiang from Yaodu District, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, was reported by the wife of Li Yuming, security department head of the institute. Li Yuming then led his people and police from Linfen City Police Department and Beicheng Police Station to abduct Meng Liqiang. They took Meng to Linfen City Detention Center and detained him there.

4) On July 6, 2004, under the direction of the "610 Office" from the Shanwei Area in Guangdong Province, Xin Chaohua, vice head of Lianhua Town in Haifeng County, Guangdong Province, led several people to abduct Dafa practitioner Song Zhenshi. They sent him to Sanshui Brainwashing Class.

5) Qu Guiyun is a 46-year-old practitioner from Jilin City, Jilin Province. On December 3, 2001, while on her way out to clarify the truth, she was captured by the police. In the police station, the police grabbed her hair and knocked her head against the wall. They also jabbed their fingers in her eyes and slapped her face hard. As a result, she felt very dizzy and her mouth was bleeding. On December 28, 2001, they sent her to the Heizuizi Labor Camp to serve a one year sentence. While in the camp, she was forced to do hard labor from 5:00 in morning till 8:00 in the evening. Sometimes she had to work from 5:00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m. She had almost no time to rest.
