(Clearwisdom.net) I remember Teacher talking about practitioners who seek positions or jobs from Falun Dafa, and also hinting to them to give up this mentality. But many practitioners did not seriously think about this issue, which resulted in a tragedy when the persecution started on July 20, 1999. Some practitioners were immediately weeded out.
After many years, everyone is using their own wisdom to clarify the truth and to save sentient beings. As part of this, we have established our own websites, and media. In the human world, many righteous people and countries have helped us, and positioned themselves well. However, more and more frequently it appears that many practitioners cannot see things with a Buddha's mind. This prevents the situation from improving and becoming clear to them. Some practitioners find space on ordinary people's websites to manifest their own self-values. To a great extent, they hold everyday people's mentalities in their actions.
This is not a good path for xinxing [mind nature, moral character] improvement. In addition to this being a significant problem regarding xinxing, the old force's dark minions have used this problem as an excuse to persecute Dafa practitioners, thus causing unnecessary losses. Teacher asks us to look inward whenever there is a problem. We must remember this not only when Teacher is reminding us, but also at all other times. I am pointing out the omission of these practitioners since there is a problem. Although this affects only a minority of practitioners, it is still a good reminder for others.
