(Clearwisdom.net) To help the governments and people of Michigan and Windsor, Ontario understand the ongoing brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China, practitioners in the state of Michigan and the city of Windsor held a photo exhibit and a two-day anti-torture exhibit at the Troy Library, MI, in front of the State Capitol in Lansing, and in front of the City Hall of Windsor from July 13 through 15. Many state workers and city government workers as well as pedestrians watched the exhibit and showed concern.

Falun Gong practitioners enacted some of the torture endured by Falun Gong practitioners in China. Scene after scene of shocking, bloody and heart-breaking tortures brought the persecution into focus for passersby. People constantly expressed their shock and kindly asked what they could do to help the Falun Gong practitioners that are being persecuted.

Michigan State Representative Aldo Vagnozzi said, "I think this anti-torture exhibit is a good idea. People should know what's happening in China, especially that our Federal government who appears to like China a lot and has invested a lot of money in China, where there are a lot of human rights issues. I think our country should take a firm stand against every country that has human rights violations, not just a few." He expressed that the high-ranking Chinese officials who played a leading role in the persecution should be brought to justice, "we often blame the order takers, but the leading persecutors should also take responsibility."

The main purpose of this anti-torture exhibit is to raise awareness of the brutal persecution against Falun Gong in China to people in Michigan and Windsor, and hope that they could stand up and help end this persecution.

An angry passerby said, "It is terrible that this is happening in China, the government is persecuting its own people for no good reason, this is terrible! We should let the President and the United Nations know about this, and stop the persecution of people!"

Another person said, "Everyone should know this is wrong. We must tell our friends and family, and tell the world in every way we can to condemn this persecution and torture. We need to know what is happening. I have a secure life, and I can do anything I want. I believe that every man, woman and child has the same rights."
