1. [Beijing] Ms. Men Xiangron in Fengtai District Arrested; Her Sixteen-Month-Old Baby Also Taken into Custody
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Men Xiangrong is a graduate school student working on her Master's degree. On January 15, 2004, police took her away from her home, which is located in Fengtai District, Beijing. The police also took away Falun Dafa books, all furniture and valuables. Even her sixteen-month-old baby was taken into custody. Her husband requested to take the baby but was denied by the police.

2. [Xiangfan City, Hubei Province] Two Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained
At the end of March 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Li Sanxi was taken to the Railroad No. 4 Detention Center by the Xiangfan Railroad police. Li was subsequently sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and sent to the Shayang Forced Labor Camp in Hubei Province.
At the end of March 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Lei Caiying was arrested at her home by members of the Xiangfan City "610 Office" (1) and leaders of the company she works at. She was held in the city's No. 1 detention center. The personal computer in her home was confiscated.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Two Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Li Xiuqing, in her seventies, lives near the Xiaoxi Public Bathhouse in Shenhe District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. On the evening of May 10, she was arrested by the Daxi Police Station while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in Daxi area. After 11:00 p.m. the same night, officers from the Daxi Police Station ransacked her home, taking away Falun Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials, and an address book with the telephone numbers of fellow practitioners.
Police took Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Yanmei away from her home on April 5. It has been reported that she was implicated by a Falun Gong practitioner who delivered Falun Gong documents to her.
4. [Chongqing] With Righteous Thoughts, Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yue Chunhua Escapes from Forced Labor Camp; Her Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Yue Chunhua, in her forties, was the chairperson of the workers' union in the Chongqing Huayan Factory of Standard Parts. In 2001 she was sent to a forced labor camp. After her term expired, she had been held in the Jingkou Brainwashing Center in Chongqing for over two years. On May 2, 2004, with the wisdom she acquired from Falun Dafa, Ms. Yue finally managed to get away from the brutal persecution which lasted for over three years. Since she had been under police abuse for so long, and had often been deprived of food and sleep, she was in poor physical condition. Her family is concerned about her wellbeing.
5. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ailing Ms. Zhang Held by the "610 Office" in the Basement of a Senior citizen's Home
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Aihong was an employee of the Nanjing Construction Engineering Institute. In 1999 she went to Beijing to appeal peacefully for Falun Gong and was sentenced to three years in prison in 2000. She was fired from the institute where she worked, and her husband also subsequently left her. Ms. Zhang held firm her belief while in prison. According to insiders, her term expired almost a year ago. However, she has since been held in the basement of a senior citizens' home by members of the Nanjing City "610 Office."
6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yang Hua and Her Husband Arrested
On the morning of April 29, Falun Dafa practitioner Yang Hua and her husband Niu Dengfeng went to Shiqiaoxi to post Falun Gong truth-clarifying stickers. Officers from the Xisanzhuang Police Station arrested the couple upon receiving reports from informants. On the afternoon of April 30, the officers ransacked their home, taking away Falun Dafa books, VCDs and other personal items. Ms. Yang Hua is currently being held in the Hebei Provincial Capital Brainwashing Center for persecution.

7. [Huanghua City, Hubei Province] Cheng Jilin Unjustly Arrested
At noon on April 21, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Cheng Jilin, a store-owner, was arrested by a group of officers while working in the store. The officers were from the Jinghai Police Department in Tianjin, the Huanghua City Police Department, and the Luqiao Police Station. As villagers had thwarted previous attempts by the police to arrest Cheng, this time they arrived at a time when there was no one near the store. Cheng Jilin was put in the Jinghai Detention Center, and was sentenced to a one-year forced labor term.
8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Ershun Sentenced to Forced Labor
Around 6:00 p.m. on April 2, 2004, police arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Ershun at his home in the jurisdiction of the Majia Neighborhood Administration in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. Mr. Zhao was taken to the Jinzhou No. 2 Detention Center. Officers demanded tens of thousands of Yuan (2) in cash from his parents. His parents were not able to come up with that much cash, and the police unlawfully sent him to a labor camp for a two-year term.
9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Ms. Sun Aihua and Her Sister Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Aihua lives in Zhanshan, Qingdao City. She was arrested at the beginning of April. It has been reported that officers of the state security department, officers of the police department, and members of the "610 office" carried out the arrest and jointly conducted the search of her home. A month and a half has passed, and her whereabouts remain unknown. The police also ransacked the home of her sister, who is also a Falun Dafa practitioner.
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yin Xinyun, 29, lives in Li Village, Qingdao City. The police took him away from work on May 10. He is being held in the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City, Shandong Province.
10. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Xu Qing Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Qing is an employee of the Jinhua Branch Bureau, a subsidiary of the Hangzhou Railroad Bureau. In November 2000, he was sentenced to two years of forced labor, when his daughter was less than a year old.
