(Clearwisdom.net, May 1, 2004) From April 26 to 28, a delegation of about 120 Chinese officials attended the Sino-Korean Economic Symposium at Seoul. Communist Party Secretary General of Jilin Province Wang Yunkun, who has followed Jiang Zemin closely in the persecution of Falun Gong, was in the delegation. Korean Falun Gong practitioners posted his photo and the crimes he committed on Internet, and the practitioners also issued a statement about Wang's visit. Some practitioners saw Wang at the airport, so they displayed a Falun Dafa banner and shouted, "Falun Dafa is Good!"

Some practitioners checked into the hotel where Wang and other Chinese delegates stayed and sent righteous thoughts throughout the night before the symposium press conference. The next day, practitioners entered the meeting room without any problem. After a one-hour routine introduction by Chinese delegates, the press conference started. When Wang Yunkun first addressed the media, he talked loudly and clearly. But as the press conference went on, his confidence and voice began to falter.
Following his speech, reporters started to ask questions. One reporter asked Wang: "Today it seems that many countries are increasing their investment in China. It has been reported that communist party officials are illegally withholding significant parts of this money and using it to crack down on Falun Gong and ethnic minorities. You [Wang Yunkun], as the key leader of Jilin Province, have actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong. Please tell us you opinion on this."
When he heard this question and the words "Falun Gong", even before the question was translated, Wang was shocked and became very nervous. Because this kind of question was so unexpected, the interpreter didn't translate the persecution part very clearly. Wang hesitated and his face became darker. He put forth some lies and then left the scene quickly. As Wang took an elevator up, practitioners said "Falun Dafa is good!" to him, which left him even more in shock.
After this incident, the organizer of the press conference, reporters from the economics department of the Korean Daily, couldn't understand what was going on and asked the practitioners about it. The practitioners then talked to them about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution in China. After the practitioners' explanation, the reporters said that they also wanted to try Falun Gong. The policeman who was in charge of Wang's safety said to the practitioners later that he deeply sensed that Falun Gong practitioners were good people, and that he was also interested in learning Falun Gong in the future.
Wang Yunkun was scheduled to leave for China on April 28. However, he changed his plans and left on April 27.
On April 28, practitioners obtained a rally permit to hold an event around the subway station next to the hotel. Practitioners displayed banners and posters to expose Wang's crimes and to tell people about Falun Gong. The practitioners also displayed photos to let people know about the persecution. When the Chinese delegates came out of the hotel and saw the practitioners, they were initially shocked, but eventually they accepted our fliers. When the Chinese delegation's bus was passing the practitioners, the practitioners started to sing the "Falun Dafa Is Good" song. As the practitioners' position was very close to an intersection, the bus stayed in the same place for a rather long time, waiting for a signal to leave, and the Chinese officials thus got a better opportunity to hear the truth about Falun Dafa. Everything seemed to be so well arranged!
A practitioner later said that some Chinese officials were staring at the banners all the time, and he could feel that they were so eager to learn the truth about Falun Gong.
