(Clearwisdom.net) My sister-in-law is over 30 years old. She is a farmer and a straightforward person. Before she practiced Falun Dafa, she suffered from various diseases. My brother works in a factory and most of his salary had been used to pay for her medicine. Since she started practicing Falun Gong, her diseases disappeared, she is more forgiving, and more even-tempered. She used to argue with my parents over trivial matters. After practicing Dafa, she apologized to my parents about her behavior and past wrongdoings. My brother noticed the positive changes and is supportive of her practicing Dafa.
When Jiang Zemin launched the persecution of Falun Gong, some bad men in our township came to our house. Once, they fined her 500 Yuan (1) just because she continued to practice Falun Gong. In the beginning, she was a bit afraid and didn't know what to do. When she realized what to do, she said to my brother, "Teacher has helped me get rid of all my diseases and saved my life! As a human being I should live with a conscious mind. Teacher and Dafa are being slandered by the Chinese government, and if I don't say anything, how can I be considered a Dafa practitioner?" Ever since then, she tells acquaintances from our hometown about the truth of Falun Dafa. She describes that before she practiced Falun Dafa, she suffered from diseases and how narrow-minded she was. Then she explained to people that without taking a single pill, her diseases were cured. She shows them her past medical bills and tells them she is able to save a lot of money because she does not need to buy medicine anymore. She also tells them how she strives to be a good person according to the Teacher's lectures on Truth-Compassion-Tolerance. Gradually the people she talks to come to know the truth of Falun Dafa.
Once, a truck loaded with chickens overturned in a ditch near the village and the driver and passengers were taken to the hospital. The villagers went to the ditch and took the chickens with them. Within several minutes, all the chickens were gone. The county and local police stations were notified and searched the villagers, house by house. When they got to my sister-in-law's house, she said, "Don't you know that I practice Falun Gong? Teacher tells us to be good people, so I wouldn't take other people's belongings." Before she finished, the police chief smiled and led his crew away.
Along with the progress of her truth-clarification, my sister-in-law and brother started to sell steamed buns. They made the buns at home and sold them at all the main roadways and alleys. When selling the buns, she would also tell her customers the truth about Dafa. Gradually everyone in the area knew she practiced Falun Gong. Her steamed buns were a generous size and she never uses bad meat. Customers came to her from neighboring villages to buy her steamed buns and her business grew.
One day, while my sister-in-law was taking out the buns from a foam box, a trailer hit her bicycle and the box fell and broke. The two kids who drove the trailer were scared and did not know what to do. My sister-in-law picked up her things on the ground and comforted them by saying, "It's okay, it's okay. You may leave now." Some bystanders knew her and asked her, "Why did you let them go? You should've asked them to pay for your box." My sister-in-law replied, "I'm a Dafa practitioner. Teacher wants us to be considerate and always think of others first. They didn't do it on purpose and how could I ask them to pay for the box? I can tape the box up and still use it." The bystanders sighed and said, "Nowadays good people like her are very few. Falun Gong practitioners are great."
A young lady in the next village was often sick. She was very tired and had no energy to do household chores. Many villagers thought she was lazy. After my sister-in-law told her the truth about Dafa, she realized that it is effective in healing illnesses and keeping fit and wanted to practice Falun Dafa. My sister-in-law gave her an exercise music tape and the book Zhuan Falun. After practicing for a while, the young lady's illness was cured without taking any medicine. Her body felt relaxed and she became lively. She started to do work around the house and also works with her husband. The villagers noticed that practicing Falun Gong made her diligent. They would joke with my sister-in-law, "We never wondered what made her change. She learned from the lady who sold buns after all."
A person in the neighboring village saw my sister-in-law running a very good business and he too began to sell buns. His buns were smaller than my sister-in-law's and the meat he used was of lower quality. Neighbors in his village didn't like his buns and waited for my sister-in-law every day. That made him furious. He blocked the path to his village and purposely ran into her bicycle. My sister-in-law said to him, "If you don't want me to sell buns in your village then I'll not come. I can sell them at other places." Since then my sister-in-law stopped selling buns in his village. But whenever he met my sister-in-law in other villages he still made trouble for her. My sister-in-law kindly said to him, "You didn't want me to sell buns in your village, so I didn't. But since this is not your village, is there a reason why I cannot sell buns? I'm a Falun Gong practitioner so I won't dispute with you. Is it because the roadways are better paved? That's okay, starting today you may sell buns in villages where the roadways are better paved and I'll go to other villages." This conversation made him feel ashamed and he replied, "I never thought that you Falun Gong practitioners are so good. I won't bother you any more." Since that day his attitude towards my sister-in-law dramatically changed. He became very friendly to her. Sometimes he shared his food with her.
Just like this, my sister-in-law has brought the truth about Falun Dafa wherever she does business. She is an ordinary person, like a drop of water in the ocean. You would not notice her existence, except for her simple behavior that spreads the seeds of "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance." She is doing the most sacred thing in the universe. No matter if it's in the bitter cold or steaming heat, she keeps telling people the truth of Dafa.
