1. [Guiping City, Guangxi Province] Several Practitioners Are Arrested
Several practitioners from Guiping City of Guangxi Province were detained after the Chinese New Year. Ms. Wang Zhaoxia was arrested in March for distributing Dafa truth clarifying materials. Ms. Yu Quanzhen was arrested and her computer and Dafa materials were confiscated. Chen Yuelian was reported by others and arrested. Ms. He Lijun and her husband, Mr. Chen Qiang, were arrested and a computer was confiscated from their home. Mr. Lu Kuncai was arrested in March and his computer and many Dafa books were confiscated.

2. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Nanning City Forced Labor Camp Extends Sentence to Persecute Dafa Practitioner Gao Xiaogui
Mr. Gao Xiaogui, from Wuxue City of Hubei Province, along with other practitioners from Guangzhou, went to Nanning City of Guangxi Province to hang Dafa banners and distribute Dafa flyers. Someone reported Mr. Gao to the police and he was arrested. Mr. Gao was sentenced to three years and is still being persecuted in the Nanning City Forced Labor Camp.
3. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Former Assistant Director of the Weihai City Rongcheng Bureau of Construction Materials, Xun Xianjin, Is Arrested
Practitioner Xun Xianjin is from Rongcheng District, Weihai City of Shandong Province and was a former Assistant Director of the Rongcheng Bureau of Construction Materials. On March 14, Xianjin was arrested from home by the policeman Xing Jianping from the Rongcheng City Political Security Division and plainclothes officers from the Nanshanlu Police Station. Xianjin was interrogated by the Weihai Police Station and his computer was stolen. Xun is now detained in the Rongcheng Detention Center. It is speculated that Xianjin was monitored by the internet police while working online.

4. [Tiefa City, Liaoning Province] 73-Year-Old Man Has Been Detained for More Than Ten Days
Mr. Zhang Cai, 73 years old, from Tiefa City of Liaoning Province, was arrested by the Hongfang Police Station and sent to a detention center for more than ten days. His whereabouts are unknown. Zhang was arrested because he told people, "Falun Dafa is great; Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance are great" and, "Jiang Zemin persecutes Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners."

5. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Gaoqiao Developing Area Police Station Harasses Ms. Zhao Xiuqing
At 9 a.m. on April 1, 2004, Li Decai led a group of police officers from Gaoqiao Developing Area Police Station of Huludao City, Lianshan District and broke into Zhang Linqing's home. Zhang does not practice Falun Dafa and works at the Xiaolin Repair Shop in Gaoqiao. The police did not show any identification or proper warrant and conducted an illegal search and arrest. The police confiscated Zhuan Falun and phone books. They tried to take away Zhang's wife, Zhao Xiuqing, a Falun Dafa practitioner, but did not succeed and left. Police threatened to arrest Zhao at anytime.

6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Arresting of Li Baozhu and Hu Xiulan, Teachers from the Daqing No. 64 High School
On the morning of April 1, 2004, Hu Xiulan, a teacher from Daqing No. 64 High School, was arrested by police officers from the Hulu Police Station.
Ms. Li Baozhu, a teacher and Dafa practitioner, was arrested when she went to the educational training center to claim the compensation from her husband's illegal arrest. Ms. Li's husband, Li Hai, also a Dafa practitioner, was illegally sentenced for 11 years.
Both Li Baozhu and Hu Xiulan were sent to the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Center to receive labor reform immediately after their arrest. Hu was dismissed because she failed the physical check; Li needed to be observed for a month and is now still being detained in the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Center.

7. [Haidian District, Beijing] Several Dafa Practitioners in Beijing Are Illegally Detained
Ms. Zhou Fengling from North Taipingzhuang practices at the Shuangxiu exercise group in Haidian District, Beijing. The Xuanwu Police arrested her at home on February 23, 2004. The police called the riot-prevention team when she refused to open the door.
Mr. Guo Baowen, a practitioner from Beijing, was reported to the police for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa at work. He was arrested at home on the morning of January 15, 2004. He is now detained at the Xicheng Detention Center. Dafa practitioner Wang Fuling and his colleague, who were visiting Guo, were also arrested at the same time.
On March 1, 2004, the Beijing Xicheng Police Station went to Heita Temple Resident Commission No. 2 building and arrested practitioner Zhu Shuyuan. Zhu is currently detained at the Xicheng Detention Center.
Practitioner Lei Yingyu from Ganjiakou Area in Haidian District in Beijing was arrested from home on February 28, 2004.
More than 100 Dafa practitioners are detained in No. Jia-8, West Avenue, Shengdemen City, Beijing.
8. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] At Least Five Practitioners Are Arrested
On March 10, 2004, at least five practitioners from Nong'an County were secretly arrested.
The people in charge of the arrest were Hong Tao, Assistant Secretary of the County Commission, Zhao Xichao, Chief Director of the police station, and Yu Hongquan, Head of the Political Security Division.

9. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Wang Li Is Arrested and Her Property Confiscated
On March 4, 2004, Ms. Wang Li was arrested and her properties confiscated. Wang's home address was Room 203, Building 18, Xuetian New Village, Nantong City. Her whereabouts are unknown. It is known that there were other practitioners arrested at the same time. The police tried to obtain information on other practitioners by hanging the arrested practitioners in the air and beating them or depriving them of sleep.
10. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Du Anli and Tang Yaqi Are Illegally Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Tang Yaqi lived in the Shenyang City Exhibition Hall. She was arrested on January 27, 2003 by the police while distributing Dafa materials near Shashan in Heping District. She is now detained in the Longshan Detention Center No. 1 major team and suffering from the persecution.
Tang's husband Mr. Du Anli was arrested by the police on March 19, 2004, while distributing Dafa materials near the Shenyang Tobacco Factory and is now detained in the Shenyang City Heping Detention Center.
11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fang Xiujuan Is Detained in the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center
On February 28, 2004, Ms. Zhang Xiujuan, 38 years old, from Shenyang City, Dadong District, was illegally arrested by the Dongling Police Station and is now being brainwashed in the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center.
12. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wang Yan Is Sent to The Special Team in the Labor Camp
Practitioner Ms. Wang Yan from Handan City was taken to the brainwashing center since February 19, 2004. She has been on a hunger strike for over a month to protest the persecution. Although her body was very weak, she refused to give up the practice and was sent to the Handan Labor Camp special team by the Handan "610 Office." The Handan Labor Camp is meant for male prisoners and uses all sorts of malicious means to persecute steadfast Dafa practitioners.
13. [Haizhu District, Guangzhou Province] Police Arrest Ms. Yuan Meilan Repeatedly
Practitioner Ms. Yuan Meilan, from Guangzhou Haizhu District, has been harassed by the police many times. She had to stop running her business because her shop was blocked by the police. She was in financial difficulty and detained by the police numerous times. She went to appeal in Beijing in 2000 and was illegally detained in the Guangzhou City, Haizhu District Detention Center for two years. She was brutally tortured during that time and was sentenced for another three and half years to the Shaoguan Forced Labor Camp because she refused to write a Guarantee Letter (2). The police also confiscated Yuan's properties and fined her. Furthermore, her family was persecuted, even those that do not practice Falun Dafa. The police did not even let Yuan's 80-year-old mother go; they arrested Yuan's mother and did not release her until they had arrested Yuan. Yuan served her term and went home. She still firmly believed in Dafa. In February 2004, she was again arrested from home by the Guangzhou City Haizhou City District "610 Office." Her properties and Dafa materials were illegally confiscated and her whereabouts are unknown.
14. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Hu Qiuxia and Wang Xiaomin Are Arrested
At about 5:00 p.m. on March 31, 2004, Taihe police arrested practitioners Hu Qiuxia and Wang Xiaomin from Hu's home. It was heard that the police immediately took Hu's cell phone away. Later the Qiaonan Police Station sent people to confiscate Hu's properties. Currently Hu is illegally detained in the Jinzhou 2nd Detention Center.
15. [Shenzhen City, Guangzhou Province] The Current Condition of Practitioners Li Weijun and His Wife
In Shenzhen City, practitioners Mr. Li Weijun and his wife were detained many times since Jiang started persecuting Falun Gong in 1999.
Li's wife was sent to the labor camp for two years in January 2001 for distributing Dafa materials. Their child was two years old at the time. The police frequently harassed Li because of his firm belief in Dafa. Later he lost his home and job. In July 2001, Luohu police arrested Li for making Dafa VCDs, hanging Dafa banners and broadcasting the truth about Dafa. The two and half year-old child was sent to Li's younger sister who did not have any source of income.
Li was brutally beaten after he was arrested and he had to attend brainwashing classes. In September 2003, the Shenzhen Futian People's Court started to process his case and sentenced him to ten years in prison in March 2004. Li immediately appealed when he received the sentencing letter and his family asked for help from the Shenzhen Legal Assistant Center. The center would not take his case because the government did not allow the lawyers to provide legal aid to Falun Dafa practitioners.
Li's wife could not find a job six months after she was sent home from the labor camp. She is living a difficult life with a very sparse income. Even so, the local police and public securities still monitor her and apply pressure on her by visiting her "because they care about her" and check her registration and notes.

16. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Xiali Police Station Monitor Ms. Yang Quijuan Without Reason
Ms. Yang Qiujuan from Maogang District, Maoming City, Guangdong Province, was arrested by the Xiali Police Station in April 2002 for distributing Dafa truth materials. She was sentenced for two years of labor reform. After two years, Yang was released in 2004 and went to the Xiali Police Station to ask for change of residential registration. The police asked her to leave her phone number so they could monitor her. Whenever she went to work or out of town, she had to report to the police and register. When she refused to follow the order as the police was going against the citizen's right of personal freedom, the police threatened her, "You will be responsible for the consequences!"
17. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Are Illegally Arrested
Mr. Ou Rixing, 47 years old, is a practitioner from Heipowei Village, Liming Area, Yangjiao Town, Maogang District, Maoming City. On February 19, 2004, the Director of the Yangjiao Police Station, Chen Rifu, arrested Ou while posting Dafa materials. He is currently being detained and persecuted in the Maoming City 2nd Detention Center.
On February 19, 2004, Director Chen Rifu arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Zhenguo, 23 years old, while posting Dafa materials with Ou. Wang is being detained and persecuted in the Dianbai County Detention Center.
Practitioner Ms. Tian Huiying, 47 years old, is from Shanliao Area, Poxin Town, Maogang District, Maoming City. She went to Beijing to appeal in December 2000 and was arrested by the Poxin police officers, Wen Ruhui and Li Jinkuang. After ten months in Dianbai Detention Center, she was transferred to the Maoming City Brainwashing Center for three years. Her three young children are left at home without any source of income.
18. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Yongqian Village Practitioner Ms. Huang Changshu Is Being Illegally Monitored
Ms. Huang Changshu is a practitioner from Yongqian Village, Longsheng Town, Suining City, Sichuan Province. She is monitored 24-hours a day by Lei Xiangui. Lei would not allow her to travel or even go to the market. Lei said, "I can put you in prison at any time. I have the right to kidnap you and put you in prison."

19. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Geng Ruifen Is Detained in the Jilin Province Detention Center
Ms. Geng Ruifen, 50 years old, is a practitioner from Ningjiang District in Songyuan City. Before she practiced Falun Dafa, she was handicapped with a lot of diseases and could not take care of herself. After she started practicing, she could take care of not only herself but also her husband who has a blood clot in his brain and is unable to speak.
At 2:00 p.m. on March 28, 2004, Ningjiang District Linjiang Street Police Station officers Zhang Dianwen and Qin Wenhui arrested Geng. At that time, she was working at home and taking care of her husband. Now her husband is alone at home and cannot take care of himself. Geng is currently detained in the Jilin Province Songyuan City Detention Center.

20. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Hu Xiuqin is Sent to a Forced Labor Camp for One Year
At noon on Feb. 13, 2004, Ms. Hu Xiuqin, from Jinsha Village, Huadian City, Jilin Province, painted "Falun Dafa is good"and was reported by the name of Wang. Officers, Hong Tao and Liu Fude, and Director Liu Huadong from the Jinsha Village Police Station arrested Hu. She was sent to the Huadian City Detention Center and transferred to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp for one year.

21. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Are Arrested
Around March 10, 2004, three practitioners were arrested by the Daowai District Shengli Police Station. Ms. Miao Shi, from Harbin City, Daowai District, is her 40s and used to work for the provincial design department. Ms. Gao Xiuying is in her 50s. A practitioner with the last name Guo used to live in Daowai District Jingyang Street. They were at Gao's house at the time of arrest. All three of them are detained in the Harbin City 2nd Detention Center.

22. [Kaifeng City Henan Province] Dongjiao Police Station Arrests Practitioner Wang Xiuyun at Midnight
Guan Yanjun, Director of the Kaifeng City Dongjiao Police Station (86-378-2921662), police officer Du Qingshui and Fan Changqing, the head of the village, broke into practitioner Wang Xiuyun's house during midnight. They took her to the police station and illegally sent her to the detention center.
23. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Practitioners Chen Qingzhi and Li Yuling Are Arrested
On the night of March 28, 2004, practitioners Chen Qingzhi and Li Yuling from Hubei Yingcheng City were arrested. They were distributing Falun Dafa materials that explained the facts of the persecution, in Leicen Village, Changjiangfu, Yingcheng City, and were taken away by the authorities to the Changjiangfu Police Station. Later the Yingcheng City National Security Team took them away. Now they are detained in Yingcheng City's 2nd Detention Center.

At 10 p.m. on March 22, 2004, while distributing truth clarification materials, practitioner Wang Yanjie from Wujianfang Village, Beipiao City was reported by someone who did not know the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa. Wang is now being detained and persecuted in Beipiao City's Liangshuihe Detention Center.

25. [Beipiao City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Yang Jingzhi, Medical Doctor from the Beipiao City 7th High School
Yang Jingzhi, a medical doctor from the Beipiao City 7th High School, explained the facts of the persecution of Falun Dafa to his students. The principal learned of this and reported Yang to the "610 Office." On March 5, Director Fei Hua led two plainclothes police officers to arrest her and take her to the detention center where she was later tortured.
