[Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Many Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
On April 2, 2004, a large group of policemen from Longcheng District Public Security Branch of Chaoyang City arrested many Falun Dafa practitioners in a frenzy. Li Yingxian, Xie Baofeng, Jiang Wei, Ms. Li Suzhen, Senior Hong and some other practitioners were abducted, and Ms. Yu Huijuan went missing. The police also confiscated without justification five notebook computers, one desktop computer, three laser printers, three inkjet printers, many supplementary materials and personal savings.
Li Yingxian, Xie Baofeng, Jiang Wei and Li Suzhen had been detained at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in October 1999. During their detention, they had been subjected to severe torture both physically and spiritually, simply because they did not give up their belief.
Yu Huijuan was abducted on February 10, for distributing truth-clarifying materials. She went on a hunger strike in protest and was released when her life was in great danger. Currently, she is missing again. Senior Hong and his family were persecuted and have now become destitute and homeless in order to avoid illegal detention.
[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Staff from Tiexi District Public Security Branch Follow and Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners
Zhang Xianting, a man in his forties, was arrested in mid January after being followed for several days by Tiexi District Public Security Branch. His home was searched and his personal belongings, including a computer and a cellular phone, were confiscated without justification. Currently, he is being kept in custody at the Wangjiazi Detention Center in Shenyang City.
At the same time, Mr. Cheng Zhongqiang, a practitioner from Shenyang City who is about 40 years old, was also falsely arrested.
[Changde City, Hunan Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Gu Zhihui Detained at Linli Detention Center
On the evening of March 3, 2004, practitioner Gu Zhihui from Li County was followed and then arrested for distributing Falun Dafa materials that explain the facts of the persecution. He was unlawfully taken to the Linli Detention Center.
[Yi County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Wu Yuhong Abducted
On April 2, 2004, police from the local public security bureau, led by vice director Li Zisen, abducted Wu Yuhong, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Yi County, while she was at work.
Police from the National Security Team led by Li Chunyu arrested practitioner Zhang Dianguo from his home.
Police from the county police substation, led by director Wang Zhanlin arrested practitioner Zhang Lijun at home.

[Tianjing City] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhu Wenhua Abducted
Mr. Zhu Wenhua, 47 year old practitioner from Tianjing, was unjustly detained by police from Dayingmeng Police Substation located at the Hexi District of Tianjing City in June 2003. His family members are not allowed to visit him at all.
[Handan City, Hebei Province] Handan Post Office Force Retired Employee into Brainwashing Center
Ms. Liu Jinling, 68 years old, is a retired employee of the Handan Post Office. Several days ago, her work unit, instructed by the local "610 Office", asked her to go back to the work place to submit two copies of her ID card. They forcibly took her to the brainwashing center in spite of her age.
[Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Zhang Dehui Arrested
In March 2003, police in Qitaihe City, in a frenzy, started to mass arrest Falun Dafa practitioners. Zhang Dehui was abducted at the time.
[Huaihua City, Hunan Province] A Retired Employee from Provincial Construction Company No. 7 Is Fired From His Job and Evicted From His Home for Practicing Falun Gong
Mr. Wei Guimei, in his sixties, is a retired employee of the Huaihua Branch of the Provincial Construction Company No.7. For practicing Falun Gong, he had been sentenced to a forced labor camp for three years. Later, he was dismissed from the company without justification. Without any salary and evicted from his state run housing, he rented a room inside the company with great difficulty. However, leaders of the company kept making trouble for him and did not allow the landlord to rent the room to him, simply because he practices Falun Gong. Currently, he has become destitute and homeless.

[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Gu Shuhua Abducted by Dalian Policemen
On January 19, 2004, the National Security Team of the Dalian Public Security Bureau, together with the Ganjingzi Branch and the Ganjingzi Zhouxi Neighborhood Committee, abducted Gu Shuhua and searched her home. Presently Gu Shuhua has been unlawfully detained at Yaojia Detention Center nearly two months after the term initially imposed on her, however unjustly, had been completed.
