After Learning the Truth about Falun Gong, A Man Can Walk Again
In China, there is someone called "Laowu" in a village in Liaobei. He had many illnesses for many years. Due to family financial difficulties he could not afford medical treatment. He was later crippled and could not walk. If he wanted to go out, he had to crawl. In the spring of 2003, a Dafa practitioner started to deliver Falun Gong truth clarification materials to him. He began reading them, and then read them one after another. Not long after, he was able to walk again. His illnesses disappeared and he felt very comfortable all over his body. His mental state was getting better and better. Whenever he met anyone, he would say, "Jiang persecutes Falun Gong. What they showed on TV is all slander and rumors." Understanding the truth is rewarded. A man who had to crawl can now walk. The news slowly spread to other villages nearby and many people learned the truth.
Understanding the Truth, a Family of Three Avoids a Traffic Accident
One family of three in a certain village often read Falun Gong truth clarification materials. As the adults read the materials, they would make sure that their child also understood. One day this past summer, the whole family when out to visit someone. On their way back, they had to pass through a nearby city. They went up to a large passenger bus in the terminal but the child was acting up and wanted to go to the bathroom. As a result, they missed the bus and had to wait over an hour for the next one. On the way home, they saw the previous bus overturned on the side of the road. The whole family realized: "That would have been us. We just avoided a major traffic accident." When they got home, they told everyone they met, "Understanding the truth about Falun Gong will be rewarded! That was how our family avoided catastrophe."
Security Director: "Falun Gong Practitioners Are all Good People, You Can all Go Ahead and Practice!"
In northern China, there is a certain village where many people practice Falun Gong. They use different means to clarify the truth to the local residents. People slowly began to understand the truth and stopped listening to the lies broadcast on TV. Once, the security director from the village met a practitioner and said, "Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. I will let you know ahead of the time if anything is about to come up. You can all go ahead and practice!" After that no one in the village made any problems for Falun Gong practitioners. When the police from a nearby city came for inspection, the village officials found ways to stop them from arresting any practitioners.
Even a Police Car Bore a Sticker Reading "Falun Dafa is Good"
During the SARS epidemic, Dafa practitioners from China clarified the truth, distributed flyers, posted stickers and hung up banners. It caused Jiang's gang to panic and ordered the police force from different regions in China to intensify patrols and inspections. One unknown city police precinct went to a village to do an inspection. Whenever they saw stickers they would tear them down. Whenever they saw banners, they would pull them down. They were busy trying to take down all of these truth clarification materials until noon and when they returned to their car they found that someone had placed a sticker reading "Falun Dafa is Good" on the police car. The police officers were confused. The citizens said, "Falun Gong is really amazing, even the police car says 'Falun Dafa is good'."
The kind-hearted "Laotao"
Laotao is a worker in an unknown air-conditioning equipment factory. He is honest and straight when dealing with others. The factory had many people practicing Falun Dafa but since July 20 1999 these practitioners were persecuted in the forms of fines, detentions and jail sentences. He observed these things but he did not believe all the slander and rumors on TV and newspapers. He said, "Falun Gong practitioners from our factory are different from what they say on TV. Practitioners who are government officials do not accept bribes. Factory worker practitioners never call prostitutes or gamble. They always volunteer to handle the hard and dirty work." He often visits Falun Gong practitioners' homes to ask for truth clarification materials, which he shares with his family, friends and neighbors.
How Did They Post Them There?
In mainland China, practitioners in a certain town pasted Falun Gong truth-clarification posters on power line posts two to three meters (7 to 10 feet) above the ground. Local officials could not easily destroy the posters without using a ladder. People from the village remarked, "How did put them up so high? Falun Gong is really amazing!"
