(Clearwisdom.net) The Epoch Times website began publishing an important series of articles entitled "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" on November 19. The fifth is entitled "Commenting on Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party Using Each Other in the Persecution of Falun Gong." Minghui net [Chinese version of Clearwisdom net] reprinted the article on November 27, 2004 and discussed how Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party use each other on the issue of the persecution of Falun Gong. The article expounds on the evil roots shared by both Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party, the specific measures taken in the persecution of Falun Dafa, the grievous consequences of the persecution, as well as the persecutors' inevitable fate of destruction.
We have noticed that amongst practitioners, some still hold doubts about directly accusing the Chinese Communist Party of persecuting Dafa by name, and they are often trapped in a way of thinking that makes them wonder if we are against the Communist Party or if we are engaging in politics. All of these doubts reflect that some practitioners have yet to come to a clear understanding about this "sensitive topic" from the perspective of the Fa. If we fail to keep up with the progress of the Fa-rectification in our understanding we will unwittingly create obstructions to the Fa-rectification. This is a very serious issue.
I would like to share some of my personal understanding on the issue.
The whole cultivation process for a cultivator is one of constant purification towards more and more microscopic levels. Of course, Fa-rectification cultivation also includes the mission of saving sentient beings.
During the cultivation process, aside from eliminating the various forms of karma in ourselves, there is a serious phenomenon known as spirit possession. The book Zhuan Falun has a specific section on the danger of spirit possession and the importance of eliminating it.
In the early years when Master was teaching the Fa in China, he always cleaned up the spirit/animal possessions on students' bodies and on their family members on the spot. It is thus clear that spirit/animal possession is a huge obstruction to cultivators and we must act decisively in completely eliminating it; otherwise we cannot cultivate at all.
All Dafa practitioners who have read Zhuan Falun well are very clear about this issue. Nobody would regard cleaning up spirit/animal possession as being anti- spirit/animal possession; it just has to be done. On the other hand, when a spirit/animal has possessed one's body, it can influence one's way of thinking to a certain extent, and in order to protect itself, it will control your brain and send out some self-protective messages that make you have doubts. This is precisely a test to see if a cultivator can uphold his righteous belief and righteous understanding. What I have just talked about concerns the superficial spirit/animal possession of an individual, and it is something very easy to understand.
However, the forms of possession are ever changing: some are big and some are small, and there are also some that are formless. Looking at the Communist Party, isn't it a form of spirit possession? It is the largest evil spirit possession of humankind. At the top it's in the form of an evil dragon, and in the human world it's in the form of the Chinese Communist Party. It is in essence a formless life. Although the evil dragon has already been eliminated, its spirit is still lingering around, and it is attached to the bodies of those who still have some affection for it in their minds to varying degrees, and those attached to their dimensional spaces, including some practitioners.
This evil spirit has made its way into people's bodies at various levels through the brainwashing education by the Communist Party, and because it has a certain amount of power, it is able to penetrate into one's body to microscopic levels. Under such circumstances, it is of great importance and urgency for every one of us to actively eliminate all the poison from the Communist Party in our bodies.
The closer the Fa-rectification comes to the human world, the closer the Fa-rectification approaches the end, and the more we need to purify our bodies at the microscopic levels through cultivation and the higher the requirements of Dafa practitioners. However, the many microscopic elements of the Communist Party have gradually made their way into our microscopic bodies through the education we received from childhood over a long period of time.
The language we used, the tone of our speech, our ways of thinking and the logic we applied before we started practicing Falun Dafa all demonstrated the characteristics of the Communist Party. Chinese tourists, regardless of which area they come from or what they do for a living, all have the same answers to many questions. It is not that they have memorised the same answers; rather, it is because their ways of thinking and looking at things were instilled by the same Communist Party.
Since we started to practice cultivation, although we have gotten rid of a lot of these habits and characteristics, the spirit possession of the Communist Party has made its way into various levels and many people are still possessed at microscopic levels. Therefore, it will still manifest on the surface, and because it is deceptive, it is not easily recognized unless one pays special attention.
Let me give a typical example of the situation right at the moment. When we talk about how the Communist Party is persecuting Falun Gong, even though it is a fact, we might think, though we might not say it: "Are we engaged in politics?" Some such thoughts we can deal with easily, whereas others might become an obstacle that we find hard to overcome.
Where does this thought come from? It comes from the microscopic levels. In fact it is no different from the surface individual spirit/animal possession mentioned earlier. When it sees that it is about to be eliminated, it sends some messages to interfere with people's minds. Because the Communist Party has possessed the Chinese people for so long, it has had the time to systematically corrupt every life, and has planted in everyone the microscopic mechanisms to protect itself.
It is apparent that the Chinese people may lash out at the Communist Party in a casual manner, yet when you seriously talk about the evil of the Communist Party and say that the Communist Party is bad, that mechanism will link you with those derogatory terms such as "engaging in politics" and "anti-China forces." The thought of "engaging in politics" is a surface reflection in the human world of the Communist Party's spirit possession of microscopic elements at a deeper level. Frankly speaking, it is the Communist Party that has taught you to think this way. Its purpose is to make you unable to face the Communist Party squarely, to make you feel fearful of it so that you will not be able to see through its nature, and thus you will more or less defend and protect it. As for practitioners, it aims to prevent you from reaching your goal of breaking away from humanness and to obstruct your path to godhood.
We all know that the Communist Party was arranged by the old forces to test Dafa. It is an evil spirit that is against the universal characteristics and has incorporated all the great evils. Since it is an evil spirit, it has countless sub-bodies. If you want it, it will come into your body, no matter at what microscopic level. If you want to keep it, it will stay there.
Then, as Dafa practitioners, how can we possibly take such an evil spirit with us to enter the new universe upon reaching Consummation? We absolutely cannot, as it will pollute the new universe. Then, what does it indicate if we cannot eliminate these elements?
Because of this very reason, for practitioners to clearheadedly expose the crimes committed by the Communist Party in their persecution of Dafa, to face it squarely and to see through its nature is to help us eliminate all the microscopic elements of the Communist Party in ourselves. The old forces call the Communist Party a god-filter, meaning that only gods can pass this test. Those who cannot pass this test will be filtered out to remain as human beings. They cannot leave. As for non-practitioners, it will be even more difficult for them to break away from the poison of the Communist Party.
The evils are being eliminated in great numbers. The Fa-rectification has progressed to such a stage and has even higher requirements for cultivators, and all elements in the human world, including the elements of the Communist Party, should not be allowed to leave any vestiges of themselves in our god's body. Should we have any hesitation when required to take this step? Any hesitation is interference and we should clearly distinguish if it is caused by our own notions or impurity. For those of us who cannot understand this for the time being, they should improve their understanding on the basis of the Fa through Fa-study and sharing with fellow practitioners. We should not jump to conclusions lightly and place obstacles in our own cultivation.
Not only should we practitioners improve our own understanding about the elimination of spirit possessing elements of the Communist Party, we also need to save sentient beings and help them see through the evil nature of the Communist Party, to the extent that they can at least get rid of the spirit possessing elements of the Communist Party at the surface level. Only by doing so will they be able to go through the Fa-rectification in the human world. If a person's mind is filled with thoughts defending the Communist Party and he has on his body the shadow of the Communist Party, then when the Fa-rectification arrives, he will be regarded as a particle of the Communist Party and be eliminated instantly.
We are not engaging in a political movement like everyday people. Instead, we are recognizing the evil nature of the Communist Party with a calm mind and with rationality. As practitioners, on one hand, we should truly purify ourselves and eliminate all the microscopic poison of the Communist Party so as to reach Consummation and enter the new universe. On the other hand, sentient beings will also become clearheaded and their knowing side will also cherish life, thus more sentient beings can be saved. Let us completely deny the arrangements of the old forces. This is immense compassion for sentient beings and also the requirements of the progress of Fa-rectification.
