(Clearwisdom.net) In autumn of 2001, I went to Tiananmen Square to validate the Fa and was arrested. I was then sent to Liqiao Police Station in Shunyi District, Beijing, where I suffered brutal torture. I would like to share my experiences from these incidents.

Electric Shock:

Electric shock was targeted at the heart. One was not shocked directly on the heart. It was done by inserting the two metal devices attached to the electric baton in between the arm and the body.

My experience - When being shocked, I felt that my heart stopped beating, and I felt suffocated ( it was like being strangled). It felt as if all my blood was frozen, all my pores had expanded at once and I broke out into a sweat all over my body. It was extremely uncomfortable and painful and cannot be described in words. Along with the electric current that was sent through me, my arm would involuntarily press down on the electric baton, and afterwards the left side of my body would twitch. The suffocating pain exhausted a lot of my energy and I had to lower my head, as I was unable to stand still. They usually give a few seconds break in between the shocks, because if a shock lasted too long, the victim could come close to death.

Electric shock on the neck. The electric baton is placed between one's neck and the shoulder. Once the electric current comes, one feels suffocated and when applied to the neck, the victim feels as if there is a loud thunder or like he is being beaten by a heavy stick. The victim's heart feels like it is being covered by a large object, causing severe trembling throughout the body. The head and shoulders feel stiff and uncontrollably leans towards the side being shocked. The shoulders, hands and chest all shake, and shortly afterwards, the whole body follows.

Electric shock of the lower half of the body. The electric baton is held between the two legs. When shocked, the male victim's penis will become erect with the current, and the policemen would come and laugh during this humiliating act.

Small club:

The small club has a width about the size of a finger. The police use the small club to attack the joints at the hip, striking in one location continuously for about 10 minutes, and when they get tired, they would take a rest and then continue beating. They do not need to exert a large force, but the persistent strikes will cause the joint to bruise. The next day, whenever you want to move your body, all of the joints will feel sharp pain that goes through even the heart, and it is very difficult to move. At night one would wake up from the body naturally shifting and causing severe pain. This meant that one would not be able to sleep much at all, due to constantly waking from the relentless pain. During torture periods, the pain lasted for weeks or months depending on how severely you were beaten.

Also in the wintertime, the police would take off the practitioner's clothes and lock the person's hands behind his back to a flagpole, and pour water onto the practitioner's body. This worsens the electric shock effect as well. Sometimes if they are afraid that the practitioner will lose consciousness, they take the practitioner back to the room every hour and let them stay in the room to warm up for 10 minutes before taking them back out again.
