[Changchun City, Jilin Province] Personnel from the "610 Office"* Hunt Down Dafa Practitioners

Recently, personnel from the "610 Office" affiliated with the Changchun City Police Department collaborated with police stations to locate Dafa practitioners' and detain them. Another group of practitioners were forced to leave home and live in exile. At least two Dafa materials production sites were destroyed.

*610 Office: an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Shuying from Kangping County, Shenyang City is now being held at the No.2 Division at the Longshan Forced Labor Camp. Liu Shuying has been tortured so severely that she lost her eyesight, had vomited blood twice, was unable to walk for a period of time and is now unable to eat.

Director Li Fengshi is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He openly admits that the brainwashing sessions in the Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp, and the brainwashing sessions in the Longshan Forced Labor Camp were created by him. Li Fengshi used his position to develop many methods for torturing Falun Dafa practitioners into renouncing their belief.

The Leader of the No.1 Division, Li Jifeng, extorted money from practitioners' family members in the sum of 5,000 Yuan. Now he has increased the fee to over 5,000 Yuan.

The Leader of No.2 Division, Wang Jinghui, is responsible for using psychological methods to persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners.

The Chief of the Management Section, Wei Mintang, is responsible for severely injuring 70-year-old practitioner Yuan's ribs in March 2001.

The Deputy chief of the Management Section, Jiang Yubo, compiled a book, detailing methods for attacking Dafa practitioners. On December 25, 2000, he poured a pot of boiling water onto a practitioner and scalded him.

The Prison doctor, Li Wuyi, tortured practitioners so severely that their blood pressure reached over 180 and their pulse rate read 120. He even was heard to claim, "practitioners are merely pretending."

Guangdong Mobile Company is a subsidiary of China Mobile (trading on the Hong Kong and New York stock markets). The headquarters are in Guangzhou City, with subsidiaries in over 22 cities in Guangdong Province. Their employees number near ten thousand. This company claimed that it is a foreign company and tries to coordinate its operations with those of international companies. However, officials in the company follow Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Dafa. In January 2002, the company forced all its employees to write "a statement of firmly resisting Falun Gong." All new employees were required to write such statement, otherwise they could not be hired. The management used this process to defame Falun Dafa by instilling lies and spreading government propaganda against Falun Dafa to all employees, which caused a bad atmosphere in the workplace.

Wang Anhua, head of Shou County's "610 Office" in Liu'an City, Anhui Province, has persecuted local Dafa practitioners in order to advance himself politically. He forced practitioners to give up their belief, and exerted high pressure on any practitioner who refused to renounce Falun Dafa. He suspended practitioners' salaries, fired, illegally detained or sent them to a forced labor camp or even sentenced them to prison. What he has done has hurt Dafa practitioners and their families to the extreme.

[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] A New Round of Brainwashing Session

Recently, under instructions from authorities in Jiang's regime, Shenyang City's "610 Office" began to hold brainwashing sessions in each district. Each street administration office and police precinct began to set up brainwashing sessions. Besides those Dafa practitioners who are living at home, the authorities intend to arrest all any Dafa practitioners not living at home by checking rented residences.

Since the second half of 2003, authorities from Heilongjiang Province's Technical Institute have frequently pressured students to sign a "guarantee statement" [guarantee to refuse to practice Falun Gong, not to associate with other practitioners and to guarantee not to go to Beijing to appeal]. During the October 1st National Holiday, the institute forced students to sign a "guarantee statement" that contained words such as "opposed to Falun Gong." One month later, in early November, officials of the institute required students to sign an "administration agreement" with the institute. That agreement also contained the words "opposed to Falun Gong." Between the end of November and the beginning of December, the institute required students to sign the "six safety guarantee statements" to obey the school's regulations, and another one - not to cross over the ice on the frozen Songhua River, but the first item on the guarantee was again "opposing Falun Gong"!

The reason the institute made these unreasonable requests is due to the lies spread by Jiang and his accomplices, which have poisoned people's minds. Jiang' regime thus required that his policies and propaganda against Falun Gong be spread to its students. Overseas fellow practitioners: please call the institute and clarify the truth of the persecution to the staff there.
