(Clearwisdom.net) In the Shizishan Labor Camp for Drug Addicts in Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, the authorities have resorted to the basest methods to torture Dafa practitioners into giving up their belief. Police even instigated collaborators (former Dafa practitioners who have turned against Dafa under pressure) and drug addicts to put heroin paste and other poisonous drugs into practitioners' food. A Huangshi City practitioner who exposed their crime publicly was sent to a mental hospital for further persecution, on police orders.

I was arrested for practicing Falun Dafa and going to Beijing to appeal for just treatment. In February of 2001, policeman Luo Xuejian and others from the Political Security Section sent me to the Shizishan Labor Camp for Drug Addicts in Wuchang District and detained me there.

This camp had a special office specially set up to persecute Dafa practitioners. Zhang Guorong and another policeman with the last name Jiang were in charge of this office. Policemen in its subsidiary 4th brigade not only directed drug addict criminals to monitor and torture Dafa practitioners, but also hired local ruffians and hoodlums to form "guard teams," wearing police uniforms and using police batons to beat Dafa practitioners. The "guard team" was also in charge of persecuting steadfast female practitioners. I often heard female practitioners' crying, policemen's cursing, and the loud noise of shaking beds at midnight.

The 2nd brigade is the women's team, whose director was a certain policeman called Gao.

Evil People Laced My Food with Poison

When I entered the camp, I was stripped and body searched. Zhang Guorong came in and told me, "You can not go out if you are not transformed. You will never get out if you never get transformed. Setting this court verdict is too easy!"

On an evening in March of 2001, a collaborator called Huang Lan encouraged me to eat some food he brought me. When I went to bed, I suddenly felt unwell and dizzy, with a burst of pain and cold flushes. When I realized that I was poisoned, I became nervous. After a while, I calmed down and felt those "things making me feel in pain and unwell" dissapating bit by bit. The next morning, I still felt somewhat unwell but was recovering. In the evening, I put this incident in my dairy and described the strange feeling.

After this event, I found that many of the detained drug offenders looked at me with surprise. Two days later a lot of policemen came for a meeting. Two or three policemen from each class attended it. While the head policeman was walking back and forth in the hallway, they stared at me with astonishment. A policeman asked me, "what is your feeling after you took the drug?" I replied, "I have never taken any drug." Several days later, a drug offender Li Gang read my diary and told another drug criminal, "He did eat food with heroin." Then, I realized what had happened. It turned out that the police directed the collaborator to secretly feed me heroin in order to harm me.

Some time later, Xiang Bin gave me a rubber-band-tied half-bag of seasoning for my instant noodles. I thought this was an expression of his kindness and put it into my meal. Then I had the same ill feeling as I described previously.

I also heard Li Gang telling another drug offender called Zhang, "a certain Falun Gong practitioner was given some kind of a drug." I didn't catch all the words but knew that it was a different kind of drug. I hope all the practitioners, who had been persecuted in this way, could expose this. In writing my "report," I had put this event in it and requested a serious investigation. However, drug criminals Zhou Zhisong, Jiang Hui, Gong Tao and so on threatened me by saying "If you turn in this report you will be sent to a mental hospital." And then they confessed to me, "We were forced to do this in order to follow orders given by those cadres." I advised them to treat practitioners well or they would get into unfavorable situations. However, this kind of persecution is still occurring.

Appealing for a Redress of a Wrong is Not Permitted

Since I witnessed various kinds of lawless persecution I planed to expose the evil deeds of those evil persons. One day I learned that the associate secretary of the Party Committee of Hubei Province would come to cut the ribbon at an opening ceremony near the camp. Upon working nearby at that time, I rushed next door and shouted "help" to the people there at the ceremony. Drug offender Wu Heng and other evil persons rushed up in a crowd. They muffled my mouth, grabbed my throat with their hands, and pushed me to the ground. Policeman Zhou put a pair of cuffs on my wrists. In the afternoon, Policeman Cheng brought me to the 1st floor, where Jiang, Zhang Guorong, and the members of the "guard teams" were.

To find out how much I knew about the police tricking practitioners into injesting drugs, the police tried to trick me many times, bringing people in and introducing them as so-called "reporters" or "provincial leaders." Once the Ministry of Justice sent people to come and check on the camp. A female vice-minister came together with a group of provincial cadres, and the head Huang Zhigang from the Provincial Organization Department. As soon as they came up, I cried "Help!" However, those people walked away without even looking back at me. The evil people rushed up and pushed me to the ground again, putting a pair of cuffs on my hands. Several days later, people from a CCTV (China Central Television) program came to film. Before hand, drug offender Hu Wenjie threatened me by saying "This camp has a three-person death ratio per year, one extra death is nothing." In the evening, police put people together to watch a TV program. In the whole dormitory area, only I was left with more than ten thugs, who were prepared to kill me. Their names are Hu Wenjie, Yao Meng, Ran Dong, Han Hui, Huang Zhiqiang, Xiang Xuejun, Zhan Zhibo and Fu Xinsheng, more than ten in total. Some of them pushed my head down, some held my feet and some legs, with one person holding the cuff. Hu Wenjie used a cloth towel to muffle my mouth. When a reporter from CCTV came up, every thug exerted all his strength to push me down. They pushed down my cuff and used a cloth towel to muffle my mouth and nose. After people from CCTV were gone, they took me to the 1st floor. A police section head called Zhou, wearing glasses, asked several evil people from the "guard team" to cuff me with my hands behind my back whilst kneeling down. Then they started to shock me with two electric batons, making me feel painful and numb. They asked me, "Are you going to cry out again?" I could not tolerate it and answered "No." Those evil people then cuffed me in the hallway overnight.

Policemen Zhou and Yuan interrogated me to find out if I knew about the drugs they laced my food with. The next day I was shocked with electric batons, and Zhou ordered two drug offenders to make me squat for more than one hour as a punishment. Yuan asked me, "The Falun Gong practitioner, who was sent to a mental hospital, claimed that policemen put drugs in his food. Will you also say that?" Then he asked me if I knew about it. Later he found himself having made a slip of the tongue and dared not to talk to me again. After that, they extended my term for an extra five months.

More Ways to Force Practitioners to Transform in the Camp

Two "watchers" would watch one practitioner around the clock. There were surveillance monitors in every room, bathroom, workshop and the hallway. Everyday they asked people to recite the jail's rules. They would check every seven days if people could recite them. If one could not recite the rules, he/she would be forced to recite standing in the hallway until the early morning. Yet one would still be forced to get up for working at 5:00am in the morning. They forced practitioners to watch TV programs that slander Dafa and Teacher.

These "Watcher" criminals could get four days of reduction in their sentence every three months. Whenever a practitioner got transformed, the "watcher" had his sentence reduced by a month.

If a practitioner was steadfast in his belief, they would enlarge the work load for him and force him to stand or squat in a military way, push his head against the wall to make his body back up two steps, to touch the wall with two hands up, waist bent and head down, to touch the wall with his face and with his arms and legs stretched, and so on.

One Dafa practitioner was cuffed to a bed, from five o'clock in the morning until 12 o'clock midnight. Whenever higher authority sent people down to check up on the camp, appealing for a redress was punished by cuffing two hands behind one's back and being shocked with two electric batons.

After getting out, I have written two declarations and sent them to policeman called Wu. I have declared null and void all the words and actions I said, wrote and did to let Dafa and Teacher down in the camp, while I was not clear-minded. I will double my efforts to make up for the loss I made to Dafa and practice Dafa firmly to the end.
