1. [Shamen City, Fujian Province] Dafa Practitioner Shi Rongbi Is Persecuted in Fujian Province's Women's Labor Camp

Practitioner Shi Rongbi was illegally sentenced to five years prison for her steadfast faith in Dafa; she is being detained and persecuted in Fujian Province's Women Forced Labor Farm.

Shi Rongbi did not denounce her belief. She was detained in the "highly restricted class" to escalate the persecution imposed on her. Those who know the inside story said that Shi Rongbi's entire body was swollen due to the torture she received. Dafa practitioners, please help to send forth righteous thoughts to help her to get free from the persecution.

We also hope that the overseas practitioners can write her letters to encourage her to overcome the brutal persecution with righteous thoughts. At the beginning of October 2003, policemen from a branch station of Ganjingzi city had illegally taken her husband from home. At the beginning, she was locked up in the Dalian Detention Center. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

In mid May 2003, some people reported to the police that Wang Sutang was distributing Dafa truth clarification materials around the Sihueyao area. Her family had to pay five thousand Yuan before she was released. The perpetrators arrested her again after five months.

5. [Laiwu City] Meng Chunlan is illegally sent to Forced Labor Camp

Forty-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Meng Chunlan from Beishanzihou village, Zhangjiawa Street Office in the Laicheng District of Laiwu City. She has become destitute and homeless for almost three years because of the persecution against her. In October 2003, Ms. Meng was illegally detained by the police in the Jining area, and then she was transferred and detained at Laiwu. Recently Laiwu police sentenced her to forced labor in Jinan. The Laiwu authorities have tightly blocked the news. The details are being further investigated.

7. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Shiyan TV Station and Shiyan Newspaper Report on the Success of a Local Brainwashing Program to Make Officials Look Good

On December 8, 2003, the Shiyan TV station broadcast the news of the graduation of the first group forced to attend the Shiyan Brainwashing program. On the screen, besides the "610 office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] personnel, most of the abducted practitioners showed no facial expressions. Some of them wore large army coats, possibly when they were transferred from other detention centers. Furthermore, they purposely created a video montage, a defamatory Dafa interview, to demonize the Dafa practitioner's feats of validating Dafa and saving sentient beings. At the same time the broadcasters twisted the facts completely to mislead the public and incite hatred against Falun Dafa.

In 1999, the Shiyan TV station had a direct and open report of Dafa, and announced that Dafa benefits society. This was before the persecution started.

8. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Jiang's Followers Defame Dafa

In May 2003, five followers of Jiang's regime from Nanyang City, Henan Province, published a book that severely defamed Falun Dafa. The Nanyang City "610 Office" personnel were ordered to distribute the book to townships, police stations, and basic units to deceive sentient beings. The five persons have recently used this book to commit crimes in the brainwashing center. The names of these five people are:

2. Wang Fusheng: assistant director of Nanyang City National People's Congress Law Working Committee
3. Huang Tingyao: Zhenping County Number One High School

5. Man Guangde: former deputy president of Zhenping County CCP School of the County's Party Committee. His current whereabouts are unknown.
