A Party Secretary Who Protects Dafa Practitioners

There was a Party Secretary named Ye, in a certain business, who could not quite agree with the idea of cultivation practice, but often protected Dafa practitioners in his workplace. Once when the "610 Office" personnel wanted to take away practitioners for brainwashing or arrest, he firmly rejected their actions. This year the "610 Office" held a brainwashing session and again wanted to take away two of the practitioners in his workplace. Ye reasoned with them and tried his best not to let the practitioners be taken away. Through vigorous efforts, he was able to protect one practitioner from the brainwashing session. Later he told the practitioner who was not taken away, "I'm under tremendous pressure. I am very sorry that I can only protect one of you." Later he communicated with relevant departments, not fearing he might have to sacrifice his own personal interests, and bailed out the other practitioner from the labor camp. Because he had protected practitioners on many occasions, he had won admiration from the staff members of the "610 Office," who told others, "Secretary Ye is a true man. He can be anyone's friend. He is very loyal to those he calls friends." In a state of reversed circumstances, another party secretary who was found to actively follow the orders of the "610 Office" was looked down upon by "610 Office" personnel. When family members of abducted practitioners questioned the "610 Office" personnel, they used that secretary as scapegoat without hesitation, "It is him who reported the practitioners to us. We're only responsible for sending practitioners to brainwashing centers. We have nothing to do with the abduction. You may sue him for unlawful arrest."

A Kindhearted Guard

A new Dafa practitioner, who obtained Dafa in March 2003, actively clarified the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa to the public. One day he went out to pass out truth-clarification materials in the daytime and was followed by the police. He quickly returned to his home located in a residential building. The police lost track of him, and after a quick search, they came to his apartment complex and asked the guard of the building if he had seen such and such person. The guard said in repugnance, "So many people come in and out of the building. How can I know if there's such a person?" The police had no alternative but to leave. The guard then immediately phoned the practitioner, suggesting that he change his clothes and hairstyle. A short while later, eight policemen came in search of the practitioner, but their search efforts were to no avail.
