Policemen Dang Dianjun and Xing Jianjun from Hanshan District Police Station in Handan City, Hebei Province have and still are brutally persecuting Dafa practitioners. They shock practitioners with electric batons, and beat and kick them. As a result of these tortures, practitioner Mr. Zhao Tiefeng's limbs started to shake, and could not stop even two months later; Ms. Su Xueling fell unconscious for over two hours; Ms. Yang Fenglian's head was swollen and she had injuries all over her body.

Thinking Things Over after Tragic Events --- Understand the Fa from Fa's Perspectives, Deny the Old Forces with Righteous Thoughts: Currently the evil forces in China are madly attacking Dafa and practitioners. Many accidents have occurred in many places. Among practitioners, some people are beginning to have unstable thoughts. Thinking this over, I found several generally existing problems among us:

• It is a common phenomenon that practitioners' Fa study is not solid and becomes a formality. Theoretically, we know that Teacher's words are right; but when problems occur, we fail to treat them with righteous thoughts and discipline ourselves with the Fa. We often resort to the standards and methods of everyday people.

• We often pay attention to the surface and like to compare ourselves with fellow practitioners and our own pasts instead of comparing ourselves with the requirements of the Fa at different levels. We often hear that so-and-so is doing so well in cultivation, so how come he was still arrested? So-and-so had such strong righteous thoughts, but he still did something like that. Compared with him, we are far lower, so how could we make it? Actually that is disbelieving not only in oneself but also in Dafa.

• When incidents happen, we often conjecture with human notions instead of really looking inward to examine ourselves and treating fellow practitioners and ourselves with righteous thoughts. Sometimes, even if we do look inward, we can't find anything due to having not studied the Fa well.

Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Action

Obtaining the Fa and Recovering from Injuries; Determined to Assist Teaching in Fa-rectification:

A car accident in 1994 caused me internal bleeding and whiplash. After that I was left with many problems, including headaches, dizziness, stiff neck, and numbness in my left side, hand and foot. I had difficulty breathing and sleeping. I suffered so much from these injuries. After practicing Falun Gong, the miraculous change in my health was unbelievable. I no longer needed any medicine and all the symptoms disappeared. I changed into an outgoing person from being a quiet and sensitive person. The relationships within my family were also greatly improved. Upon seeing these changes, several of my co-workers also started to practice Falun Dafa. At the end of 2000, I went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was arrested. I went on hunger strike to protest and was tortured by the police. They searched, beat and force-fed me, but I still tried to clarify the truth to them with compassion. I also helped many inmates to know that Falun Dafa is good. During the detention, my former work unit fired me. I had a side job at the time, which also fired me. But all this did not change my firm belief in Dafa and Teacher. In 2001, I was arrested while handing out fact-clarification materials. I went on hunger strike to protest. I came to understand many hints from Teacher for eliminating the attachment of life and death. At last, I was released on medical bail due to the results of the medical exams.

Experience of a Senior Citizen and Dafa Practitioner in China who walked away from the Evil Persecution with Righteous Thoughts:

I started practicing Falun Gong in 1998, initially to heal myself and obtain good health since I had some chronic diseases. After I practiced Falun Gong, all my diseases disappeared. Right after New Year's Day, 2001, I went to Tiananmen Square with righteous thoughts and shouted out from the bottom of my heart, "Falun Dafa is good! Restore the Reputation of my Teacher and Dafa!" The police came and seized my banner, then dragged me on the ground for about 30-40 meters. I did not tell them my name and was tied to a chair. A vicious policeman beat me badly. I was later sent to a forced labor camp for a one-year term. During the detention, I received all kinds of physical tortures, including beatings. But we refused to cooperate with the evil forces. I enlightened to the fact that I should go and clarify the facts to save people, start sending forth righteous thoughts for the gate to open to let me go home. Several days later, under Teacher's protection, this became reality. The guard called my name and I was released. At that time, I truly felt the power of the righteous thoughts and the greatness of Dafa. I walked out the detention center with righteous thoughts and actions.

Notice of the Complete Investigation of the Criminals Who Have Participated in the Persecution of Falun Gong in Panzhihua City, Liaoning Province

The lawless people in Panzhihua City brutally persecute Falun Gong practitioners. By August 2003, almost 50 practitioners had been sent to forced labor camps, about 15 practitioners sentenced to jail terms, about 300 practitioners detained in detention centers, excluding the area of Miyi County, and about 50 people illegally abducted to brainwashing sessions. Numerous practitioners have been beaten and tortured. The police also illegally extorted over 300,000 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China.] from practitioners and their families.
