[Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Liu Laibing Is in a Dire Situation after Being Tortured
Mr. Liu Laibing is in his 60s. In late June 2003, he was arrested by police officers from the Desheng Police Station. He has been illegally detained at the Yingkou City Forced Labor Camp. According to multiple sources, his health is in a dire situation due to the persecution.

[Jilin City, Jilin Province] Police Officers in the Jilin City Jail Become Scared after Their Persecution of Mr. Wang Juncheng Was Exposed Over the Internet
After Dafa practitioner Wang Juncheng was tortured in the Jilin City Jail, the incident was exposed on the Internet. The police officers that were involved in the persecution are scared. To cover up the truth, they released Wang Juncheng from the mini-cell where he was held and invited Wang's family to visit the jail. They tried to deceive Wang's family by saying that he was treated very well, but Wang's family did not believe them.
[Suining, Sichuan Province] A Dafa Truth-Clarifying Material Producing Site Is Damaged by Local Police
On August 11, police destroyed a truth-clarifying material producing site on Jiahe Street in downtown Suining City. Liu Anyuan, the head of the local "610 office"* led a group of police officers to arrest one male and two female Dafa practitioners. The police also broke into their rooms and took away equipment and Dafa truth clarifying materials, including flyers and Video CDs.
It's believed that the police were monitoring the location for more than ten days. Before the arrest, a radio detection vehicle was seen driving around the area. As a reminder, we urge fellow practitioners in other areas to thoroughly shield and ground laser printers as a precaution.
* "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
[Ren County, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Huo Buxiang Is on a Hunger Strike in Protest
In early August, Ms. Huo Buxiang was illegally arrested by police officers from the Ren County Police Department. Police searched her body and her home but found nothing. But they still detained her and tried to get information about other Dafa practitioners, especially those who were forced to leave home to avoid persecution. Ms. Huo has been detained for almost half a month. She refused to cooperate and even clarified the truth of Dafa to the police officers. To protest the illegal detainment, she is holding a hunger strike. Local Dafa practitioners are sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in other dimensions behind the persecution.

[Zanhuang County, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioners Are Illegally Arrested and Fined
Are Illegally Arrested and Finede Station: ty Bureau, ghts cooperate with police and clarified the truth of Dafa to police ofIn 2001, Dafa practitioners Mr. Fan Heixiao and Mr. Fan Jintang (both in their 50s) from Zhushan Village were arrested by police officer Xue Xinyi. They were released after paying a fine of 5,000 Yuan* each. On January 14, 2003, the two were arrested again for no reason and were sent to the "Heibei Legal Education Center" for brainwashing.
On January 6, 2003, Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhu Ximei was arrested from her home by Lu Guiping from the "610 Office" and others, and was fined 5,000 Yuan before being released. Ms. Zhan Ju, from Siyu Village, was arrested before March 1, 2003, and her whereabouts are unknown.
* The Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.
[Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Two Brainwashing Sessions Have Been Organized to Persecute Dafa Practitioners
Fushun City held two sessions to brainwash Dafa practitioners. It's believed that a third session will open on September 1. The primary method used in the brainwashing session is not allowing practitioners to sleep. Twenty Dafa practitioners were in the first session, among them seven are from the Liaohe Oil Field; seventeen Dafa practitioners were in the second session, among them, four are from the Liaohe Oil field, and one is from Panjin City. Lu Ming, the Communist Party Secretary of the Ciyutuo Oil Extraction Factory, and Jiang Changping, the Communist Party Secretary of the Ciyutuo Engineering Division, have helped the "610 Office" send Dafa practitioners to the brainwashing sessions; they also paid money to the "610 Office." Jiang Changping sent three Dafa practitioners to the brainwashing session. One of them does not belong to his division, but was still sent to Fushun by Jiang.

One summer day, more than ten local Dafa practitioners met in a grove of trees outside the city. They sat in a circle and played "Pu Du" music. Together, they sent forth righteous thoughts and studied Teachers recent lectures. Several Dafa practitioners shared their cultivation experiences. They also exchanged information about how to clarify the truth to people for the purpose of doing a better job in the future. This is typical of the small experience sharing conference held locally. Such conferences are very popular in the area and are very effective in promoting the progress of Dafa practitioners as one body. Truth-clarifying Video CDs, audiotapes, printed materials, and flyers are circulating widely among more and more people. Flyers containing the news that Jiang has been sued in many countries, and his nine major crimes, are widely seen. Painted signs of "Falun Dafa is Good" are seen again and again. The facts about Dafa are going deeper and deeper into people's minds.
[North China] A Local Dafa Experience Sharing Conference
In late July 2003, a Dafa experience sharing conference was held successfully in northern China. Around 50 Dafa practitioners shared views about what to do and how to make progress together. They all agree that they should help those fellow practitioners who don't go out to clarify the truth, and help those who have gone astray under pressure to come back to Dafa. Dafa practitioners should make progress together. They also shared Dafa truth clarification experiences. Some areas hold routine experience sharing, and practitioners make quick progress. Some who dared not deliver Dafa truth materials became brave and have delivered materials. In group activities, practitioners have cooperated with each other very well.
