The Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners (GMRPFGP) published a declaration supporting Falun Dafa practitioners in Belgium's lawsuit against former President Jiang, Vice Premier Li Lanqing, and "610 Office"* head Luo Gan for charges of genocide and crimes against humanity. This is a complete lawsuit against this evil Chinese gang following similar cases in Chicago, the United States, and France.

The following is an excerpt from the article "Take Care of the Equipment that Walks With Us."

There exist evil elements and interference from the old forces during the Fa-rectification, but sometimes damage is caused by our own factors. Insufficient righteous thoughts is the fundamental reason; more precisely, not paying enough attention to the the basic rules of this dimension is the main cause. Our equipment is shouldering important tasks in creating truth-clarification materials. Sometimes our equipment is damaged due to our own lack of common sense in operation and maintenance, and due to our minds' impurity, impatience, and carelessness. In the past, sometimes I looked back on equipment that I damaged, and I felt regret because it was my fault. The pieces of equipment are beings, and they are helping us saving sentient beings. Aren't they worthy of respect? As cultivators, we should be nice to all beings. We should look for causes carefully when our equipment has problems. We should prepare everything carefully ahead of time, operate the equipment with a calm mind, and use the equipment properly.

Facts of the Persecution

A special team was established for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in the Huadu City Labor Camp, Guangdong Province, where cruel methods are used to torture Falun Dafa practitioners, such as making practitioners stand for long periods of time, depriving them of sleep for days on end, breaking their wrists, tying them up, painfully pulling the foreskins of their penises, rubbing their noses until they bleed, burning their feet with cigarettes, and so on. The police fill practitioners' ears with lies while using brutal torture methods. The evil gang in the local "610 Office" has created at least four sets of torture methods, one of them is Tying the Ropes.** Some people would rather die than live through such torture. Practitioners who go through this torture end up with large bruises all over their bodies and come close to death. Then the police call the jail doctors to come take a look at the practitioners, pretending that they really have some concern about practitioners' physical condition.

There are many cases of Falun Dafa practitioners in Beipiao City, Liaoning Province being tortured. Around May 1, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Caihong was abducted and brought to the Beipiao City Detention Center, and then sent to the Masanjia Labor camp in the middle of July. On June 23, Falun Dafa practitioner Fu Wenjie from Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province was abducted while passing out flyers to people, then illegally detained in the Beipiao City Detention Center, and later sent to the Masanjia Labor camp in the middle of July. On June 24, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners in Beipiao City, including Sun Zheming, Zhang Haifeng, and Xu Xiaoming, were abducted while passing out truth-clarifying materials. On June 25^th, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners Zhao Guoyun, Wang Shouzhi, and Wang Fenglan were abducted from their homes. The Director of the Qiaobei Substation, Du Dezeng, beat Zhao Guoyun with an aluminum alloy bat, resulting in a large number of bruises on her upper legs, buttocks, and her back.

Falun Dafa practitioner Yu Shuang was illegally abducted and brought to the Daqing City Hongweixing Brainwashing Center on February 18, 2003. Because she refused to be transformed, she was later sent to the Longfenggang Detention Center, and unlawfully sentenced to three years of forced labor camp. Ms. Yu Shuang was brutally beaten by the prisoners in the labor camp during May and June of this year. Her right 11^th rib was fractured, which caused her extreme pain. She was tied up on the restricting-chair immediately for seven entire days. The ankle shackles made her lower legs swollen, so that she could not walk easily. Her term was extended three months [for refusing to give up Dafa].

News from China

According to internal sources, in order to arrest more Falun Dafa practitioners, the "610 Office" in Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province has created an examination and point system. Arresting Falun Dafa practitioners is correlated with their pay system, such that arresting one Falun Dafa practitioner who is doing truth clarifying work (passing out flyers, or posting banners) will be 10 points, and being a leader (in persecuting Falun Gong) nationwide is 5 points. However, arresting a criminal is only 1 point. Police often take the night shift so that they can arrest and monitor Falun Dafa practitioners.

* "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.

** The police tie up the practitioner with a thin rope, circle the rope around his neck, and tie his hands behind his back. Then the police use all their might to tighten the rope. The rope becomes tighter and tighter around the body of the practitioner, and makes it more and more difficult for him to breathe. The pain is so intense that the practitioner sometimes loses control of his bladder. There are instances when the rope was tightened enough to break a practitioner's arm.
