A Letter to Judges in Huanggang City, Hubei Province: Do Not Place Personal Power Above the Law

To all Judges in Huanggang City, Hebei Province:
On August 1, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Qingmin was illegally arraigned for the second time at the People's Intermediate-Level Court in Huanggang City. Although the form of this hearing was different from the prior trial, in spirit it remained the same. It once again showed the Jiang regime's disregard for the law. Zhang's first trial was held illegally in secret, and he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Although the second trial was open to the public, Zhang was not given the opportunity to defend himself. He was forbidden to speak, and denied his basic right of defense. In addition, both the judge and Zhang's court-appointed lawyer only spoke in conformance with government policy concerning Falun Dafa practitioners. Questions raised in court had no bearing on this case.
The Torture and Slavery Behind the Facade of "Civilized Management" at the Women's Brigade in Baoding Labor Camp, Hebei Province

The following are a few cases of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners illegally detained in the Women's Brigade in Baoding Labor Camp, Hebei Province:
Ma Qingyun (from Xiong County), was force-fed by police agents. They pinched her nose, pried open her mouth with a big spoon and held her teeth with pliers (two front teeth were broken off). They forced liquid food into her mouth and it ended up going into her lungs. She often coughed up blood and she was constantly under the "stringent management" program. She had to get up at 5 a.m. in the morning and go to bed at 11 p.m., which resulted in TB, intestinal adhesion, and pleurisy. But after more than 1 year, prison guards here still would not allow her to be released back home on "medical" bail.
Dafa Practitioners from the Jianghan Oil Field in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province are Tortured During Interrogation

(Clearwisdom.net) In December 2001, to validate Dafa, practitioners from the Jianghan Oil Field, including Ai Zhenghua (female), Wu Yuanqiong (female), Li Yuanqiong (female), and Yang Yin (male) wrote large-size words of "Falun Dafa is good" and "Falun Dafa is a righteous way of cultivation" in the oil field area for several days in a row. Their action greatly frightened the evil and awakened the people.
