Facts of the Persecution

The Guizhou Province Female Forced Labor Camp has implemented strict rules for steadfast Dafa practitioners. The methods they use are very cruel and evil. Two drug addict criminals watch each Dafa practitioner 24 hours a day. Practitioners are forced to stand in a military-like posture for 7 to 8 hours every day, and are only allowed to use the toilet 3 times per day. Practitioners are locked up in a small cell anywhere from ten days to half a month at a time, and must stand at the corner of the blackboard from dawn until dusk, regardless of the weather, lasting anywhere from ten days to half a month.

Hebei Province Xian County Health School student, Dafa practitioner Wang Fuyan was illegally arrested by the Xian County National Security Unit on September 18, 2001, and was illegally detained for 15 days at the Xian County Detention Center. Later, Wang Fuyan was forced to stop going to school. On March 1, 2003, Wang Fuyan was again arrested by the Xian County National Security Unit, and illegally detained at the Xian County Detention Center. He was brutally force-fed and tortured. Wang Fuyan was then illegally sentenced to "re-education through forced labor" for 2 years. On June 26, 2003, he was illegally detained at Group 5 of Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp.

"Re-education through forced labor" is what is truly evil, not Falun Gong. A letter to the local police station from a senior high school teacher in China read, "I am an educator that has taught for 25 years. I practice Falun Gong for a healthy body, so I can contribute more for the people. However I am persecuted for no reason. I was sentenced to re-education through forced labor for 2 years, I was dismissed from the workplace and my family was forced to separate. In Guangxi Female Forced Labor Camp, the guards use very brutal means to torture Falun Gong practitioners. This includes hanging up and beating, brutally long runs, confinement in tiny cells, tying up, and very heavy forced labor. My personal experience in the forced labor camp made me truly understand what evil is: Using the most brutal means possible to force people into telling lies, violating the universal characteristics.

Zhang Qingfa, the senior professor of Qingdao University wrote this to Chinese leaders Hu Jintao, Wu Bangguo and Wen Jiabao: "My son-in-law Zou Songtao died from persecution in the Wang Village Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province, because he practiced Falun Gong. My daughter Zhang Yunhe is still detained in jail. My spouse Bi Wucai was unable to withstand the shock, and sadly passed away. Now my little 3-year-old granddaughter and I are dependent on each other. By telling you of the tribulations that my family has suffered, I am hoping you can reconsider, and end this national catastrophe that has lasted 4 years. It has caused the deaths of many innocent people from brutal torture, and brought unexpected disaster for tens of thousands of families."
