(Clearwisdom.net) Something that happened to me lately helped me to deeply understand the meaning of our daily behavior and it's role in spreading and validating the Fa.

A few days ago I was on my way to a group Fa study. Since I stayed a bit longer at work I accelerated my walking speed so I would not be late for the beginning of the reading.

All of the sudden I remembered that I needed to throw out my chewing gum so I walked towards a garbage can which was a fair ways out of my walking path. It took several more seconds of my time to make the detour.

When I returned to my path a man approached me and said enthusiastically: "I'm amazed! I was walking behind you all this time and I noticed that you were in a hurry to get to some place. However, you left your walking path just to throw the chewing gum inside the garbage can and not on the sidewalk! How do you explain that?"

I smiled and told him that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner and that we cultivate ourselves according to the laws of the universe: "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance." Then I saw in his eyes a great will to learn more. So I took a flyer out of my bag and gave it to him. He thanked me dearly and told me that on that same day he will go on the net to look into our Falun Dafa web site so he could learn more about it.

At the Fa lecture in Boston, Teacher said:

"You are cultivators, whose conduct is [supposed to be] pure and righteous. There are so many people who think you're great just by having seen how you act. If we don't pay attention to our own behavior in our daily lives, everyday people will see our actions and, since they can't get to know you at a deep level such as by studying the Fa, they will just look at how you act. And it's possible that one sentence or one action of yours will make them unsavable or create a bad impression of Dafa. We need to think about these things."

In this manner, an apparently meaningless act of a Dafa disciple could help a person form his opinion and attitude towards Dafa and even save him. When our thoughts are righteous, our daily behavior will validate the Fa in its most truthful way.

This is my understanding and I thank you for any remarks.
